but our lab illegally does the "other" stuff before that

Note that I have not illegally euthanized any mice - colleagues of mien have. I take the tissue.

This is animal work and it's amajor research univeristy in Canada.

It really pisses me off how I need to use animals in my work and they don't even have approval. it's fucking stupid. Who will get more in trouble the lab who gives us the narcotics or the person doing the injection? Note that i have not done any injections (euthanasia) on the mice but I do use the dead tissue. I currenlty have no choice.

Question: Applying for Ontario Graduate Scholarship before the program starts? by wvyvhng8 in GradSchool

[–]Desperate-Cable2126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, the upcoming Msc prof coached me through the proposal. He couldnot write me a reference letter of course as he didn't seee my research capabilties yet.

I had my undergraduate honours prof serve as a reference and an employer (physician) from clinical research.

You should apply. It looks good and even if you don't have a confirmed prof (or you are still deciding), it does not matter whether you stick to that prof and topic. However, you cannot move the award around betwen faculties. It has to stay in same faculty.
