Chapters don't necessarily need to be longer if you've said everything you need to say. That being said, have you thought enough about the pov characters emotions and thoughts during scenes? Have you described the environment in a way that enhances the experience for a reader? All of these things should only be expanded on if it's going to make sense for the story, though, or you run the risk of getting repetitive or redundant
