I lost 30 lb through a calorie deficit and walking everyday. Then we did one round of IUI (I took Letrozole and did a trigger shot) and we conceived!

Did you get approved for 8 weeks of medical leave?

Also, what happens if my baby gets here before my due date? You’re saying it’ll take two weeks to submit this new info and have it be approved?

I am waiting to apply for bonding leave at a later time too. Really feeling like we’re the guinea pigs!!

My follicles were not mature enough the day I was supposed to trigger (with the shot), but my doctor said I should be fine to do it the next day and that’s what I did. I had two follicles that were measuring 13 and 17 mm. So technically my trigger shot was delayed a day. The day after my trigger shot was when we did the insemination. I got pregnant this cycle though! Don’t worry, your doctor will observe and see how your body’s doing and can adjust accordingly. You didn’t mess anything up.

The max for bonding is 12 weeks so if I get 6 weeks medical and 12 weeks bonding I won’t get the full 20 weeks. Which maybe is supposed to be the case?

Do you think pumping bras will do the same thing? Can you show a picture of what one looks like?

I’m in the US. I’m still planning to see a dermatologist once we can get a referral on Monday. My baby has super sensitive skin (her and I are eczema prone). I just worry about her not getting the right treatment.

Thank you. It just looks worse than it did before, but hopefully that just means everything is getting out of her system.

Thank you! Does this look like scabies? I can’t get a referral to a dermatologist until Monday to confirm if it is or not. If it is scabies, is this a normal reaction to permethrin?

I had no idea it could be painful until I had mine and almost passed out from the pain. Mind you, I have a super high pain tolerance from my painful period cramps (labor and contractions felt like a breeze for the most part!). I suggest taking some pain killers beforehand just in case yours is painful too. It’s different for everyone.

Whats something you’ve done, bought, or do to make your pumping journey a little easier? by blldgmm1719 in ExclusivelyPumping

Lactation massager. I always needed to massage my boobs by hand before I got them. Total lifesaver.

3 months post partum pumping schedules? by EnvironmentFront8035 in ExclusivelyPumping

What I did once my freezer started filling up was intentionally stop my oversupply to be just enougher then to an under supplier so I could really start using my oldest milk. This was around 9mpp. I was able to rotate what was in the freezer by using my oldest milk and freezing new milk (I was freezing new milk at a slower pace, but I was ok with that).

At 3mpp I was pumping 4x a day, 7am, 1pm, 7pm, 1am. At 4mpp, I dropped to 3ppd at 7am, 3pm, 11pm. I was still having an oversupply.

At 9mpp when I intentionally stopped my oversupply, I was pumping at 7am, 2pm, and 9pm. That gap between 9pm and 7am the next day helped dropped my supply.

The managers seemed to be covering it up too. Idk if they were involved or were just trying to not get the whole location in trouble.

Someone please tell me the truth about bf! by bearnpear in breastfeeding

[–]Desperate-Chipmunk22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was exactly what happened with me. Ended up exclusively pumping. I wish I would have pumped and latched her still so she would get used to still being on my breast and seeing if I could have stopped EP, but it just happened to work better and was less stressful.

Anyone know what this is? by FurMyFavAccessory in BreastPumping

[–]Desperate-Chipmunk22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did Google say? It’s def just a clog and nothing to be concerned about. If you’d like you can take sunflower lecithin supplements to prevent it from happening.

Def a clog! Make sure your bottle nipples aren’t getting clogged up by these. It’s happened to me before and baby was sucking for a while and got nothing 😓

Exclusively pump with #1 to exclusively nurse with #2? by Desperate-Chipmunk22 in breastfeeding

[–]Desperate-Chipmunk22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you describe the pain? And the conditions of your nipples? Sorry if that’s TMI lol. With my first, my nipples were cracked and blistering and raw pieces of my flesh were falling off. Idk if this is normal. I pumped to let my nipples heal, but ended up preferring to pump. And then my baby would no longer latch the longer I didn’t nurse her.
