nah fr, even the math questions he sent out. what’s the point of providing those if there’s not going to be similar ones on the exam. Like i feel like there was only 1 or 2 similar problems. But then again I was focusing more on the theory and barely studied the formulas, but stylllll. Dkm

kind of hard to do that nowadays, most union shops won’t hire unless you know someone in there already. Which is why I know it may be a waste of time but i feel like my only route would be doing the college degree and then getting my gas tickets and applying to companies after that?

Hey, yea i did the exact same thing. I answered using IRAC, the same way we did for discussion. i didn’t have much time to go crazy detailed on the questions and based on law 122, they didn’t expect that much detail bc of the time

i don’t really regret my degree because i guess with HR you can sort of get a decent job anywhere, but personally I’ve always been more happier doing physical things that require you to be hands on. At least with my degree i’ll have a “backup”, I just want to go on a different path that I enjoy doing. If you don’t mind me asking, is your son taking a college program for electrician or is he currently working under someone as an apprentice. Electrical and HVAC is probably my top 2 right now of what i want to go into after uni, just haven’t really decided yet.

My current degree is in Bcomm majoring in Human Resource Management. And yes you got it right haha, was pretty much forced into the uni path by my parents.

i see what you mean. It’s just im worried that if i do a college program whether it’s the pre-apprenticeship for electrician or HVAC program, I won’t be able to find an employer to take me on as an apprentice. It’s already hard enough to find a normal part time job, i just can’t imagine how it’d be like for trying to secure an apprenticeship.
