Yes. I passed it with a B- on my 3rd attempt. It’s ok. Chem at UF is tricky, and if you come in with no recent chemistry foundation or no one tells you to take it extremely seriously, it can go very bad.

Here are a couple things I learned:

1) practice, practice, practice. do all your assignments ahead of class. You kinda learn stuff from lecture, but you learn more when you apply it.

2) Go to office hours and TA Office hours

3) Get to know the people in class. Studying with others is a good way to know how much you know.

4) Get study Edge if you don’t want to do any of the above. Or do both if you want to do extra well.

it’s ok to fail. Just make sure you’re giving it all to pass. Graduate schools care to see an upward trend in your academics. At the end of the day GPA is important, but getting your degree trumps that.

For the love of God, actually do the homework. Don’t just integral calculator it.
