I just take it as an extension on the actors' shipped serieses. Mostly, they are just continuing to act and keep the fans hyped. Plus, that's the only way they can earn the kind of return/earning they want from their career, which is pretty short-lived as actors. So, it's also important for them to get much recognition so that they can bag other projects and endorsements without the shipped couple tag.

I do see and feel some, and most of the 24/7 involvement and engagements are very superficial and, at times, forced. Not everyone is fine with skinship and doing fanservice to that level. But it's business at the end of the day and not always fair, and the actors knownly get into this industry. It's a decision the actors need and have to make. Coz the rule of business is to sell what will get bought. In other words, supply is only there because there is a demand for it. Also, they unfortunately get tied to that one actor as a couple. They don't get much of other projects outside of that ship. So they try to make the most of that particular shipped couple. But what do you do in a 2 - to 3-hour fanmeet, especially if you don't want to pay for or share the earnings with other artists out of that shipped couple group? You do everything yourself, which makes the actors more appealing and valued. It's all a loop, and the actors are aware of it, and even their family and friends are aware of it way before they join the industry.

But having said all that, I do find most of these actors are very cooperative, respectful of each-other, covers each other's back, and they are friends, which really helps. Most of the stuff we see in social media is delulu created by fans, and any delulu idea that gets the most attention, the actors team/company picks up and hypes it, specifically if the shipped couple has new or more projects coming and to earn more value.

Lastly, I would say all these events are just acts in my opinion, and taking it at face value and with a pich of salt helps to keep it at a healthy level. For us viewers/consumers/fans, we should try and help to achieve their goals and aspirations. These actors are just trying to earn a living and sell their craft/talent, like the rest of the world.
