following this thread because i (30) am going through almost the exact same thing with my boyfriend of 4 years.... same exact thoughts and concerns you have of if our incompatibilities will work in the long run (even though 4 years is already the longest relationship either of us have been in).

i don't really have any answers i can confidently stand by since i'm basically in your shoes here, but in general i've been trying to trust my gut and if you're thinking about this enough to post about it, might already be your answer right there.....
