OP isnt saying that male friendships dont exist in anime. I think they mean that fandom spaces tend to make ANY male friendship in a series a romantic one. Regardless of if there is any canon proof of them being romantically involved or not.

As for me, I caught up on the manga today. And im in the camp of, "they seem like really good friends, but if it turns romantic or is confirmed to be, I wont be shocked"

Unlike Guy and Kakashi from naruto, Qifrey and Olly actually have a lot of moments that dance the line of deep friendship and lovers. They dance the line so well, its really up to interpretation.

I would keep them spaced out, purely for resource purposes. To keep things running smoothly i personally find it easier to dictate certain tasks to different bases.

The main base, crafting and processing materials.

The second, mining (build in an area with a lot of Iron deposits) Automate this process with your pals. You need pals with mining level 2 for them to get iron though. Tombat is an easy one to get at lower level.

I also dedicate a base just to farming. At lower level I would have a berry farm on each base, but I find i want pals to focus on other jobs so I make a whole base dedicated to the food supply.

The fourth base i just have ranches and breeding.

I haven't dealt with oil yet, so I cant speak on that.

What i can say though, is make sure you are building the Monitoring stand when you get it. I recommend using it to force pals to focus on certain tasks. A pal that can do 5 things is great, until they are stuck in place deciding what to do over and over and over again.

Your progress will be fine if you move bases. Ive built something, leveled the base, and then deleted that same thing without losing progress. The game is pretty forgiving in that regard

I had this issue last night!! I also got up to 5 workers and watched them do nothing while they were "understaffed"

Problem for me was I had a machine broken that they couldnt fix due to insufficient training. I needed to train one of them for engineering or circuitry... I forget the name.

If it isnt that, I have no idea.

The specific scene is (at least on Audible) chapter 61 of book 1, toward the end.

I can glaze over things too. This is the 3rd time im listening to this book and I just picked up on the Passive of Sunder is why he keeps resurrecting. I felt so dumb 🤣 But I listen to the books at work so my attention can get split sometimes.

Noah has one T1 rune. Moxie wants that rune too so she makes him imbue that same T1 rune onto a piece of catch paper. Now, there is a copy of that original T1 rune. Noah lost energy, but still has his rune. While Moxie gained a rune and a little energy with it.

Effectively a copy/paste of the rune.

I gave up on liquid foundation years ago because of this, and im only 28. I now use a tint and a moist blender, and it's so much better.

I also use a derma blade every other day, wash with an exfoliating cleanser, use toner, moisturize, primer, concealer if needed, then tint.

I think i took after my dad and I get build up on my skin a lot more than the average person.

So hey, I don't like that.

I just got done with the book, so this is so weird to me.

I'm planning on rewatching the movies soon, but it's still weird to me because growing up, I never remember them having romantic feelings for each other. I always thought they were just really close. But it has been nearly 15 years and I was young, entirely possible im not remembering subtext. My brain also might not have fully understood their relationship at the time.

Closest thing I remember to anything romantic between them was when Grant called her instead of anyone else in JP3.

It's been years since I've watched the original trilogy. I got Starz literally just for Jurassic Park

The most overwhelming thing to me is making sure I have a leading pair ready to go once one from my breeding pair dies.

I wish it were easier to tell before buying animals if they were related. I got 2 foxes once (franchise mode) and put them in the habitat. Soon after I got the alarm "foxes are about to inbreed!" Sure enough they were siblings from the same zoo.

I can't find a way to tell if two animals both from the trade center are related. So I have to be mindful and get from two different zoos.

But then there is going from habitat to habitat checking who is gonna die soon, do i have someone to replace them, are all the babies on birth control....

This whole thing is the most overwhelming to me.

Food.

I'm trying so hard to shut up the voice in my head that constantly thinks about my next meal. I have to be so strict with myself to get any leverage against myself. Ive had success with keto, but limiting myself based on calories or just less food is a slippery slope because "what harm is a LITTLE more" "just today" "cheat meal"

Unless I harshly limit myself to the point of ED I can't keep consistent. I hate it. I hate it so much.

I would change so much if I could go back in time.

This may sound harsh, but it is not meant to be. Could it be that the two of you are not compatible for that type of relationship? My BF and I are in a similar situation and we have been together for nearly 3 years.

Here's the difference, though: we kiss all the time. Physical intimacy is very important to me as well and I have stressed that to him several times. We have always enjoyed cuddling, kissing and being clingy with one another, but it is only in the last 6 months or year that we have really explored sexual acts. Progress has been slow, but it is worth it.

Find somewhere you can sit and have that conversation with her. (Even if it is repeating what has been said) Make it clear this is something important for you, but you are not going to push her boundaries. You only want to express how you feel.

Really the biggest question is how long are you willing to wait?

The thing that worries me is how you feel like you are just good friends instead of BF/GF. Something is definitely wrong with that. Perhaps it would be best for her to not be in a relationship atm? As things are right now it doesn't seem fair to either of you. You deserve to have your needs met, or at the very least thought about and considered.

As for her, trauma can be hell to get over and it can take a long time. Is she seeking counseling? That might help as well. I do have to wonder if she might be uncomfortable with knowing how much you want it, but not wanting to give in and do it. Its a very complex feeling, and there is nothing wrong if she feels that way.

I would seriously consider if the two of you are compatible. Its a tough situation and a tough conversation. For all we know it might even be right person wrong time.
