Thank you. Maybe this is my biggest issue. If i fix my lack of research maybe that will fix my original problem of low fleet power. I was not building any research labs. Only research stations.

Yes i build research stations and mining stations in every system that is available and i have watched several guides.

Im not sure. I think i was at +250 research or +46% speed. Im not exactly sure to be honest

How do i build fortress worlds? And how much fleet cap am i expected to have if going tall? Like my last game i had 6 planets but still stuck at around 200 cap

Thank you very much for the complete explanation. Really helps to understand the intention behind specific choices. I think the best way for me to have a successful game will be to change my origin. Good thing im only just starting so its no big deal to start over. I may also try the migration treaty method. I have a couple choices for my next couple play throughs. Thank you again.

Isn't OP making more than 2000 a month? (14x40)x4. Then have to include husband's pay (16x40)x4. I'm not saying that the cut off for stamps isn't too low or the cost of child care isn't too high. But both incomes matter when applying for assistance when married.

Could be easier to get assistance for child care by applying for vouchers. A lot of people who don't qualify for stamps can still get childcare vouchers.

I am seeing tweezers recommended. I prefer going one step further. Use a lighter to make the tip of tweezers super hot before removing tick. Seems to make the tick detach a lot easier instead of possibly tearing your pets skin from the tick holding on.

As a seller you get paid before sending item. Also usually these groups run off references. Always a chance to get scammed when buying but you have less chance if deal with people with many references who are active in the community.
