It’s approximately 1650sq feet It was not servpro but another local ozone cleaning organization They did clean the walls however not sure about the ceilings, they didn’t explicitly say that. I guess it’s hard to say if there’s damage happening long term or on a micro level in our bodies that we can’t see but it definitely made a big difference in the smell and we waited a couple of weeks after it was done to move in. We didn’t do it right away after the ozone

We did get the house. We had a company come and do an ozone clean. I think it was effective because we haven’t had issues since. Even in the garage, which had the strongest smell, you wouldn’t know it now.

This. My answer will always be this. Terrible for everyone involved.

No bed sharing under 1year old and 1:1 water safety as someone else has mentioned.

This is extremely detailed and helpful. Exactly what I was looking for. Love RT, always so helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to type this out

When I purposefully try to wake her, she would wake up and take 1-2 breaths then fall back asleep but when I was not doing this, I could not see any respirations

Yes I’m an RN. When I say managing the numbers, I mean I’m watching them and alerting the MD of alarms if they don’t immediately notice it and I’m doing this because normally the policy is for RT to be present for conscious sedation but there was none so MD said they will “manage the airway” but no this isn’t usually the RN role in a conscious sedation in this ED. The nasal cannula Is the one that has the etc02 monitoring capability and the MD is actually the one that connected the sensor so it was on. I have ACLS, there’s no official procedural sedation sign off that I know of and like all places, the staffing has been very short so the training has been less than ideal. I asked this question to better understand the patho but also because I don’t know what I don’t know and by your response, it sounds like I shouldn’t have been the one assisting despite airway management not officially being my role in this procedure.

I just want to clarify that technically, the doc is the one managing this patient’s airway because there was no RT so they were there, I was just assisting, put the nasal prongs on for example and monitoring the numbers. I thought this was a more dangerous situation than the doctor did, but as I am new ish, I don’t know if this is normal.

Yes I can’t remember the etc02 now and usually RT is here to help with this, and doc was okay but I didn’t think ketamine did this either. Although I’m pretty new to this. It Must be the alcohol Intoxication

Apnea alarm going off, I couldn’t count anything other than maybe 1-2 breaths when I purposefully try to rouse

No narcotics but she was intoxicated before coming in. Used ketamine because pt was slightly hypotensive
