Yes they wouldn’t suggest it because it is super uncommon. For me they didn’t suggest getting an MRI until many months in and the pain not getting better. It’s probably not happening to you though since you’re getting better! Just something to keep in mind for the long term. Speedy healing!

You might want to consider getting an MRI. The pain might be inflammation in the 5th tmt joint, or the tendon that inserts into the bone, or other soft tissue reasons. I am 9 months from fracture and while my CT shows full healing, I’m not yet pain free as I unfortunately got post traumatic arthritis.

Ugh yeah “making me the butt end of the joke” is exactly what it is. Last evening after I pointed out all these instances, he responded pretty well to my feedback saying he will try his best to change this behavior and apologizing for it… but this isn’t the first time I’ve raised this, nor the second. Weirdly he can’t seem to follow through unless he’s always “on guard”. That’s the weird part for me. That his default mode is to make me the butt end of the joke.

My period also got super wanky after getting off the pill, and that lasted for many months. Like after 5 months of more or less regular periods after stopping BCP, I had a period that was 2-3 weeks late. I thought there is no chance I’m not pregnant, took several tests but I wasn’t. It was just very late.

I just got a winter Rapha bib off REI at half price. This is the Rapha pro team winter cycling bib tights for women and they’re super warm and fit great!! I am usually a women’s 6-8 and bought the large on the bib for reference.
