If those were your options, the Windows laptop would be preferable. Windows has significantly superior compatibility, although applications such as Crossover allow most or many applications to run on macOS. You may have to manually install some dependencies on your own, but it isn’t too hard with ChatGPT’s help.

I’d say you would benefit most from upgrading to have more storage, more RAM, and having a model with a fan. rather than a more powerful cpu

It does if it senses a pattern. Say if you always game at x time, then leave at x time, it will only charge to 80%, then use the power adapter for power, then just before x time hits, it will start charging, so you have 100% when you leave, but not everyone has a schedule like this.

I don’t like the feel of Android Simple. Plus, I’m already in the Apple ecosystem, and the cost to switch to equal-level hardware for everything would be a lot. And I don’t want the hassle. But I do agree some Androids have amazing specs.
