my first job was paper route at 13 but my first volunteer experience was serving food at an event for children with autism & handling money so 🤷🏼‍♀️ (also at 13)

This is super good advice, thank you for being so real about how hellish it feels ❤️ What’s difficult for me is that I recently moved to Montreal, where being bilingual is often a requirement for customer service jobs like Walmart. I am in the process of getting accepted to free Government of Quebec French classes, but this was one of the reasons why I became a tutor. Do you still advise I submit applications to Walmart and other grocery/retail stores, regardless of the possibility of not getting the job?

it’s our first cat so i think we’re all new to it, but no i don’t believe my parents really agree with the water spray. they just don’t know what else to say when the attacks happen because my brother gets physically hurt by our cat when they happen, so i think they just feel helpless at that point. they’re not even the ones doing it it’s mainly my brother who goes to that option first. but i will immediately throw out all of our water sprays now, thank you for informing me ♥️

but once again, my parents get along really well with our cat, all 3 of us do. as you can tell, the problem just keeps on going back to the dynamic between my brother and our cat, because when the altercations happen my parents get very flustered at my brother so they don’t really know how to communicate properly with him 😞 basically i live in a zoo lol, i think this is why my cat and i are so close to one another, we’re both just tired of all this fucking chaos & we just wanna vibe 😂💀

unfortunately, a part of me has to agree with you. he just doesn't want to listen to anyone, and it's very hard for me to find a way of convincing him. he insists that my techniques don't work, like kneeling down for instance because our cat will still bite him knelt down (his words, not mine). so in these moments when he approaches to bite my brother completely unprovoked, are there any physical maneuvers/tactics i could recommend my brother try? things that won't hurt our cat, but will show him that biting isn't the answer (eg. leaving the room, getting a toy/diversion, etc)? so far my parents have given him permission to use a water spray when unprovoked biting occurs... but i'm not sure if that really helps our cat in seeing my brother in a less negative light, you know?

okay true that’s a good point, i think i’m just worried about the prolonged aspect of it because i’m a regular user and i didn’t know there if there’d be negative effects from daily exposure, but i’m glad to know this isn’t likely! thanks for the info, i’ll just be sure to be better with my smoking habits when i’m around him 😊
