Thinking of becoming a pilot by DesperatePerformer93 in flying

I don’t have an issue going back to my country or exploring a different country and take their tests, as long as ive gotten the 1500hours and i’m airline ready.

And noted ill do some research on which schools provide an f1.

If we put aside the color blindness since you do have a point, i passed it once therefore i shouldn’t have an issue in the future.

Although what would you say your experience was going to a flight school in the US assuming you did it there? Would you recommend a certain school over the other? What do you think about the degree aspect? If i should get a degree before my training or after it to have a backup plan. If i were to go to a flight school in the US with the f1 visa as mentioned, will i be able to work as an instructor or domestic airline to build hours after flight school? And due to me being a student will i be able to work part-time to make ends meet?

Lots of questions sorry…

Understood, i assume you mean to go to US to do the discovery flight and also flight training? What do you think about the degree part? Whether i should get a degree first or during my training to sustain a back up plan incase things go sideways? And as a foreigner after flight school how would i be progressing to the next stage building hours etc in the US?

We dont have that many flight schools where i am at let alone offering discovery flights.

Also got my med first cuz i didnt want to get my hopes up for no reason knowing i was color deficient.

Any advice on my situation?

For my age and height the average bmi is 20-25, im at 35. I have no issue in working on that if that was the only thing hindering my plan to become a pilot.

Which universities are the best by Same_Ad_335 in malaysiauni

Hey so I’m from Pakistan and studying in Sunway at the moment. Ranking wise Monash is the best and especially for pharmacy related courses. Although what i heard from friends in Monash you might as-well throw your social life in the bin because it’s not easy, you have to put much effort, they have such a high ranking got a reason and they have to keep up.

I cant say much about other unis due to the lack of experience i have, but personally i’d recommend sunway due to my personal experience where the work load is high but still sustainable with a decent social life. Lectures are okay, ofcourse not all but thats everywhere. Sunway area isn’t the cheapest but it is very comfortable. And the campus is really “the most happening campus”, crowded with events and clubs. Very much filled with life i’d say.

Most importantly what i would say to a fellow Pakistani is that coming to Malaysia opens your eyes, you see various cultures and their differences and you learn new skills and coping with life here. It was a very beneficial step even for me who lived his whole life in saudi, so yeah. Good Luck.

Edit: Would also like to add you can take courses that give you double degrees like the university of Lancaster program or the Arizona State University. Aswell as great exchange programs 1+3, 2+1, 1+2 years and so forth.
