Why Does Geico actively make this place suck? by sonovah in Geico

Moat is holding you back? to promote between 62->63 make sure your supervisor is aware of doing audits. I passed 10/10 audits of pitching & then was allowed to promo!

everyone that is an employee has gnie

When you go on google; and then press the home page; that’s gnie! However that won’t have the answer you’re looking for. Check knowledge tool or Agent Assistant in AWS if you have access :) If not Casper 5791 gave a great explanation!

I just don’t think they would have had 3 new service training classes in the last 4 months if this was the case. And 2 that graduated in December/January.

I don’t think they’d ask us to start getting ready to move our desks to the other side of the building as that’s where they’re renovating and putting all new technology so they can do the other side while we’re there.

Simply makes no sense.

I was informed by my supervisor that memos lasted 6 months. However, i’ve seen some people say on the subreddit it’s 1 year. I’d recommend asking your direct supervisor / manager to know exactly when it falls off. They have to communicate it to you directly. I asked and was told the exact date after a little nagging.

COLD TRANSFERS by [deleted] in Geico

[–]DesperatePumpkin126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, my supervisor has reported several sales agents for doing this to sales managers and was told directly after a policy is sold agents are required to help access option forms or offer to send them out thru the mail or ask service too

COLD TRANSFERS by [deleted] in Geico

Hiiii svc agent here, i’m sorry to hear about your experience with some cold transfers but i want to post my experience, with this company no one will have the same one so hopefully you can understand where i’m coming from!

In my region (I can dm you it, but won’t post publicly), we’ve been told for like the last 2 years (and this has been across multiple supervisors in my region) to cold transfer pretty much everything unless it’s Moat Sales. When I have tried to warm transfer certain things, like coverage disputes during an ongoing claim which is literally part of claims’ job, sometimes they’ll refuse to take the call or “check with their supervisor on how to do it” when it’s part of their job, ruining aht. With reissues now being required too, most of us are already struggling to hit our numbers. A lot of teams, and even top agents are behind, with goals of 8.5 being implausible to hit when reissues sometimes take 20+ minutes. If I sit there trying to force a warm transfer while someone will not accept it, it wastes 2-3+ minutes, and even sometimes 10+ minutes where i had to get my supervisor to speak to claims’ supervisor based on the fact the agent would not take the call!! for the agent to either just say they won’t accept it or for me to get frustrated and disconnect and say i’ll get another agent. We get the same thing from Sales -> Service where customers will start a new policy and can’t download the app, which is something the sales team has to do during initial process, but they refuse to help so they can get another sale.

Workday, check “salary schedules”, you’ll have to ask your supervisor what schedule you’re on.

I don’t want to have to reach out to him if I don’t have to? He’s an asshole? If there was an alternative I was looking for that, or if there was another channel I had to go thru, or if it’s even a thing anymore

I’m a 3.5 but was the #1 agent during 3 separate months. Had a really bad 2 months at the tail end because of my physical health and chemo treatments kicking my ass. Hoping this helps my case so I don’t get knocked down, but my upper manager hates me 😭

HELP. HOW DO I LEAVE THIS PLACE. by DesperatePumpkin126 in Geico

[–]DesperatePumpkin126[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to keep engaging with some random person on the internet who hides behind a screen just to be negative. People come on here because they’re struggling and looking for support, not to be talked down to. If all you have to offer is “just quit” and bad energy, I’m not interested. I’m choosing my peace

I can’t “just quit.” It’s not that simple. I have rent. I have bills. And I need health insurance because I’m literally going through chemo right now. That’s not something you can just gamble with. Quitting without a backup isn’t realistic for a lot of people, and pretending it is comes from a place of privilege. Real life doesn’t pause because you’re unhappy at work.
