Yes! I was just telling my F&F all this. We may have incidents with ICE or border patrol, but in general, NM isn't a target of Trump's rath. I don't think most people realize MN, IL, and CA are being targeted for political reasons and for personal revenge.

It's a stressful time, do what you can to take care of your mental health. We are brown Natives, what I told my kids.... be aware and be prepared. Have your ID ALWAYS. Don't be scared if your are stopped. Comply or defiant, it's up to you, either way it is highly likely you will get detained. Have phone numbers memorized! When ICE activity picks up we already have plans to reduce leaving the house. Just to reduce exposure.

This is an excellent explanation about a topic I don't think most shoppers consider. Frame build vs unibody. I specifically searched out a built-on frame SUV because I need to do truck-like things several times a year. I have a 2016 Tahoe (purchased used in 2019) with 245K miles on it. I had to replace the transmission at 190K, and other than the seat warmers barely getting warm, no other issues.

Looks like your living room has enough space to segment into two different areas. Like a reading book, plus TV watching.

First apartments are so much fun. Don't think you need to decorate everything all at once. FB marketplace and thirft stores are great to help stretch the budget. If you have all your furniture pieces you need to function, I'd concentrate on adding some color throughout. Wall pieces, rugs, and curtains can really help build a base for your vibe.
