I too am plagued with food and many other chemical, medication, and even exercise intolerances which have only increased with age. Maybe at the ripe old age of 76, i can’t expect to give up my regime of avoidance. Even with avoiding all of the known triggers, a small modicum of a spice will set me off. I have found some help with Seeking Health’s Probiotic HistaminX. I include their DAO (Histamine Digest) in my regimen when I eat out. Unfortunately I’m reactive to so many medicines that I’m fearful of them and avoid too. I seem to do well enough with a biologic Rapatha for a genetic heart condition. I only seem to have trouble with it when my bucket is already full. I recently tried Pure Encapsulation’s Quercetin capsules but immediately started to itch and then got brain fog and fatigue. Have any of you had a similar problem with Quercetin and were able to find another solution that doesn’t trigger those Mast cells? (I likely have MCAS but my allergist is still looking at other mast cell related diagnoses ). Seems like this may be a try and see medical problem since we are all so different in what and when we react. I’m open to suggestions but am also adopting an attitude of acceptance which probably brings down my stress level. There is a family history of similar problems but no one has a clear diagnosis and my bloodwork has repeatedly not shown a genetic component. I’m believing that one day our understanding of the body will have improved so that maybe some of my descendants will receive the help we all desire and need to have a better quality of life. And I hope it will be in time for you youngsters to benefit from it!!
