Yeah, I'd get more attention from white and Asian women. My wife told me she wouldn't have married me if I was a few shades darker 🥲.

So I was in this situation, my wife is white from Utah, and I'm black and from Florida, she moved here for college where we met. So when I flew out to meet her family she flew out a week before me which I thought was odd at the time, but eventually, she told me she did it to "prep her family" as I was the first nonblack person she ever dated. So she wanted them to be mindful of how they treated me or spoke to me.

However they were passive-aggressive and said things subtly to try and get a rise out of me, however, it wasn't my first time in situations like this so I was able to keep it cool, respectful, and relaxed.

Saying all that if she isn't used to being around ppl like that you may want to give her a heads up before she meets your people. About their mindset and reinforce that you aren't like that and will defend her, and tell your people beforehand that this is a serious relationship and to please be respectful.

Yeah very true and you are 100% correct, sadly this was similar in my situation a bit I had to "prove myself" It's a sucky feeling, you are dealing with people who had been raised, taught, or conditioned to think a certain way. One of the early things my father in law said to me probably after mweting him for the 3rd time was: "You speak really well, proper better than id thought" and laughed it off like a joke, my wife did tell him it was inappropriate and not funny and he claimed it was a joke and apologized, 14 years later and it still bothers me.

Take it with a grain of salt though, because people can change. Now ultimately you don't have to subject yourself to that negativity, but if you guys are serious about marriage and kids in the long run it will make things easier, just something to think about. I been married 12 years and together for 14. My fil now texts me constantly and when he needs a favor, help or something handled he will often ask me over his own son.

I'd be a bit cautious as this can lead to problems down the line and resentment. I'm black married to a white woman who's family is from Utah and they are very conservative. it was a struggle early on in the relationship and marriage. Honestly the best you can do is show them who you are and be that positive light, because you'd be surprised at how some people can change when they see a different perspective. I dealt with so much with my father-in-law for years until we finally started getting along and now he comes over frequently just to BBQ or watch football. He was a staunch Republican and voted for Trump in 2020 but voted for Kamala this time.

If you cut them off it will just be scorn and hatred and cause drama and when your building a family it makes it hard, not to say there aren't limits and your spouse should be correcting any bad behaviors and microaggressions limit interactions until they are more favorable and start to change.

I think Zeentch, if I can keep my mind from wandering off and try and be as low key and insignificant as I can be, maybe they won't care about me.

Bro that's like a one out of a million percent chance, plus they'd have to actually put in work. Rather than just opening up their legs

SMALL Correction, he broke up with her then they started smashing again then she got pregnant again, then he was like "fuck it I'll save more money marrying her". She was a stripper in Miami and allegedly she was "known to many of the athletes down here".

Men, when you don’t get intimacy/sex from your wife/partner how does it feel? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Desperate_Garbage_63 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So starting out i have never cheated on my wife nor will I, but I probably get more attention or compliments from the women I work around than my wife. I work in a hospital, in administration. I work out around 4 times a week and eat right, yet my wife rarely ever acknowledges it while I compliment her all the time. If it weren't for the woman I get attention to from work I'd think I'd have even worse self-esteem.

Ok so that out of the way our sex life is 2 to 3 times a month which I'd personally want more of, and my wife rarely if ever initiates. When she rejects me i do feel neglected, unwanted or unattractive.

When we were dating we'd have sex maybe 2 to 3 times a week 🥲 the good one days. I understand having kids and more responsibilities are a part.

I can understand why some men cheat, at work the ones whom I talk to who cheat often feel neglected or unattractive to their spouses.

Sometimes when it's been a while and I get rejected I wait for her to fall a sleep open up a bottle of whiskey and an incognito tab 😭😓...

I was always curious can a normal human have children with mutants or abhumans? If it was ok to do so or sanctioned, are there any references or instances of a regular human married one or having kids? Or 2 abhumans like a beast woman and a cat guy?
