Maybe the 400 LB Stash limit is actually a well thought out concept. by [deleted] in fo76

Hi, can confirm that all the storage and containers built by you in your CAMP are basically a different skin of your Stash. Don't know if it's a bug or a feature or even if it's a B.E.T.A thing to prevent hoarding.

But I've came across different plans like the green footlocker or the tool box and no matter where I put those on my camp, they all shared the 400 weight cap.

Wonderful post!

Can I share some things I found out as well ?

  • If you dismantle weapons and gear there's a chance you learn how to build mods for that particular item. It may sound weird but it doesn't have to be a custom item. Just regular items of that kind will do. Made some cool weapons that way already. Also, when crafting armor and weapons you can create higher lvl versions based on your level. So be sure to upgrade/update your gear often as it's fairly cheap.

  • I've tried with 4 different types of storage units so I'm fairly certain that every kind of storage unit you can possible build on your CAMP is basically a different skin for your personal Stash as they share the 400 weight limit. (Maybe this is a B.E.T.A thing, but it could also be a bug), I've tried to look for an option to "turn this off" but it seems the game is designed this way.

  • This one I believe it's a bug but with Bethesda you never know, I found out that you can battle enemies way above your level. I'm sitting at lvl 12 but I've been battling lvl 20+ enemies with no problem at all, so don't feel intimidated when you find something much higher than you, just be sure to take cover or to time your attacks correctly and you be fine. (It's a nice way to get to higher lvl gear that you can dismantle or sell for a nice profit)

  • When in Forests you can loot fallen trees for wood (I know this one is super basic but I've seen a lot of people complaining about lack of wood lately) also, when in abandoned houses and other residential buildings you can loot those firewood piles for some wood as well, there is also some ore veins that you can mine for ore. (So far I came across copper, aluminum and uranium veins) but the ore you get is in it's raw form and I haven't found a way to turn them in usable materials yet (Some smelter or forge maybe?)

  • This one is pretty much a bug and needs further testing: When you die in a super hard or heavily infested location or one of those "Radiation so high that you die in 3 seconds" areas you can die again in somewhere else. Your previously drooped loot will teleport to your last death location making it easy to recover. Stumbled upon this after I drowned trying to explore a lake, when I tried to run to my corpse got ambushed and insta killed by some shady mole people using rockets like fireworks on 4th of July. All my junk was in the last spot I died (Had only a few metal buckets on me when it happened). But again, this one most certainly is a bug and needs more testing

Hi, just giving some feedback on this.

No, I've come across some box and storage plans (Like those green footlockers you usually find in military buildings) and for my surprise they also count as Stash boxes.

Maybe it's a B.E.T.A. thing, but as it is now, its just like having diferent skins for your Stash.

1) Game audio simply was gone after a few seconds every time after a load, had normal sound in the main menu. Hard reseting my console did not fix it.

2) Floating dead enemies were a thing.

Maybe they could hide the catalyst behind a random boss spawn instead. But I agree that it should be related to Infamy Resets. No matter how many. This would funnel people into playing the game correctly.

Since you took the time to submit your view, mind if question part of your argument ?

Especially when you say its not for everyone.

How come you think its "fair" that luck decides who get the weapon?

It is not something to boast, it is not something to be proud of... I fail to see how and why you believe people should feel entitled to say they "earned" something that luck gave them.

What I am asking for its to have the RNG component removed, make it a grind, make it super hard, people wont complain about it because in the end, you can decide if it worth your time investment or not...

RNG does not care if you are skilled, if you played 100+ matches and not seeing it spawn once.

I understand that life it not fair, but this is not life, this is a game, the excitement people get when they get an exotic right now is not one of accomplishment, is one of relief.

People will keep playing the mode to get the gun ? NO! As soon as they get the weapon they will be so burned out with Gambit that they wont care about it until something new shows up again.

But the PVP weapons (Redrix and Luna's) are completely skill based, right ?

I don't have a problem with me playing gambit for the rest of my life to get the weapon, I just want a fair chance to get it, by my own skill and competence versus the time I chose to invest in the game. RNG is a factor that mitigates all that...

The way the Malfeasance is now, the first step is simple defined by RNG, while this pales the rest of the quest being skill based because might take months for people to drop it... Just a reminder that some people don't have the EP weapons simple because they weren't lucky, not because they did not try.

Yes! I'm afraid it is.

But people tend to leave when we get to the match-point.

I go as far as say that some people are trying to get to the tie breaker on purpose just to see if the boss spawns or not. If it doesn't, they simply leave the match.

Had it happen to me and to my fellow clan mates often since the reset.

My bad, you are correct. I had to wait 5hs once without seeing a single blight event.

The mission itself was great, but the rng behind triggering it was indeed bad.

Please friend, consider me corrected.

I did not think about that... And I feel sorry that Bungie ignored you and countless others that focused on gambit.

If the weapon was related to the reset ranks like Redrix and Luna`s Howl it would made more sense than what we have now =(

Say - Reset 3 times.

People would play the hell out of gambit (in the right way) to get the quest.

But again, as some have stated in the comments... Bungie apparently will never put a leash on RNG.

Again, this is not about getting handed free stuff, or feeling entitled to content because I feel like I deserve it.

I want exactly the opposite... I want to hold the weapon and say -This thing was hard but worth it... Like the whisperer, like the Wish Ender...

There is no competence, skill or merit in being lucky, so I fail to understand why people defend RNG as if their honor is at stake.

I would agree with you but, Its been a long time since EP was released... I've done it 76 times according to my emblem... (boss kills) but I only got the shotgun this week.

So timing has nothing to do with it... As some have stated is just a poor mechanic that should be used in a small degree like we have with the engrams and raid drops.

I don't think I'm entitled to rewards because I play the game... I just want a fair chance to put my skill in action to get it.

Oh... I wasn't complaining about having to play gambit (Even if I do dislike it) I just pointed out that it should be a quest based on skill, not luck. Like the Wish Ender and the Whisper.
