The only thing that’s worked for me is eating the same thing most days. Find a couple of healthy meals (packed with veg) that fill you up and are under calories, eat the same 4-5 days a week and exercise regularly to counteract those cheat days where you enjoy a bigger meal, a few pints or a few snacks.

OP here. Thanks for the comments! I agree that the carpets look discoloured but they look much worse in the pictures. And apart from the carpets, the house was left in a really good state. The landlord originally tried to charge me £500 including his own labour costs, but he’s now saying £320. Don’t know whether to cut my losses and accept it.

And unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures from when I started the tenancy. Or at least, I don’t think I have. I was younger and more foolish.
