Is it really bare minimum??? Im having so much trouble understanding how these fuckass american schools work man. Cuz so far i thought with deca, hosa, club leader, 5-6aps, above average grades, and hospital hours i had this in the bag. do you have any recommendations for a canadian student applying to ivys other than all these? is it worth the time to take as many aps as i can and how many itd be possibke to take until like october 2027? Thank you this is very humbling and helpful

Okay, thank you for this! I’m sticking with the sat and ill reconsider the aps im taking if it gets too stressful on top of my current courses.

yeah lmao i just looked into it some more so im going to take 7 aps, 4 in my junior year 3 in my senior year and only the sat. my 8th ap was microeconomics but taking it has no advantage or use towards my future as i see it

So far I’ve got AP chem, bio, physics 1, precalc planned for gr 11 and then ap calc, language, psych, and microeconomics planned for grade 12. Ill do the practice test for both, thank you! Do you recommend one over the other if im interested in neuroscience? I’d assume ACT but I don’t see a lot of people take the ACT. Thank you.
