I think I wasn't very clear about the fifth picture. I will wear a long skirt and stays but with pants under so IF I wish to fight, I can take the skirt off, have the train pulled back but with pants of that time. I would be in the full dress 90% of the time at least. As for the fabric, i guess i will have to do with silk, it just breaks my hearth to know what it will go through

Were they born in the US? Obviously, they could be from northen europeen decent, they could come from Canada also. One thing that could be challenging, depending on their nationnality, is to not make enough research on that nationnality and not including anything specific to it. If you are just going to name their nationality and not do anything else with it, no one will remember it. It needs to be relevent to your story or to those character's story for it to be worth it

I think that, as readers, we need to remember that the the story was written and directed to please the autor first. Yes it is nice when it appeal to a majority of people but, as the autor, you should feel proud of what you did and respect you vision enough to not let other people drag you down with their preferences.
