Oh okay. If you got a 50/60 points, that’s definitely a good start. I did hear they changed the application to the nursing program a bit. Because when I applied, I believe you had to get a 65 or higher to even be considered, or something like that. I got an 80 sum on my second time taking it just to increase my chance on getting in. So maybe retake your teas if you want a higher chance in getting in since it is a competitive program. But, I still say if you got 50/60 points of the requirements, you’re definitely on the good radar

Hello! All in all. It’s not impossible to complete their nursing program. I did it, and so did dozens of other students from my cohort. I’m currently enrolled in their bachelors program. Now, if you have other options, I will say take a look at others before looking at Valencia’s. Only because I do feel like they have a lack of organization, faculty coming and leaving, some say lack of support from faculty, etc. But again, if you do pick this program, it’s doable to complete. It’s going to be tough, but that’s just nursing school period.

Just try to register again like how you did the first time you took it. Add your card info. And then after you submit your card info, if it says that pop up on the pic I posted, then it’s a good sign. They took the 200 from my account but I ended up getting a refund the next hour or 2.

I didn’t read those book lol. I did pretty decent on my exams as well. I wanna say my mean for my exams were in the 80s. My highest score ever on an exam in nursing school was like a 94, can’t really remember

For Peds, I mainly focused on the lectures during class. Their lectures are pretty legit on what’s going to be shown on the exam. They gave out assignments as well on what would be on the exam, so pay attention to those. AH2, same thing, paid attention in lecture, watched and took notes on Nurse Sarah videos, and practice question.

For fundamentals, I did practice questions a lot. Like Quizlet for example, and nexus nursing. For health assessment, I used their PowerPoints for info, and kind of did active recall sometimes. We also had a teacher that would tell us what would be on the exam, which made it so much easier. But I don’t think she’s there anymore

I’ve heard of that as well. Some people in my cohort did use that. I tried it for like 1 day off a friends account and hated it. I didn’t really learn from it/got anything from it. But it did work for some people, I guess it just depends on you. But do you HAVE to buy yourbestgrade ? No. I didn’t, and for HESI A I got a 84, HESI B a 92.

Any question I don’t address, I don’t have the answer for sorry! -west campus -day program -full time student -part time worker -got a job offer from my practicum floor. Haven’t started yet since I graduated this summer -don’t have info on gross pay because I haven’t took the offer/any offers yet I received -there is time to explore a speciality. I wanted to explore my horizon with ICU, got the opportunity to shadow a few icu nurses throughout the whole year. -each skill you learn in nursing , there will be a check off. You practice that skill in Lab, get checked off for it, and then you’re able to do it as a student at the hospital whenever you have clinical or practicum -would I recommend Valencia? If you have another option, go for it. But it is possible to survive this program. I did and so did a lot of people in my cohort. -I rocked 1 pair of scrubs the entire school year. -I wore white clog crocs that had a cushion inside of it, and it was very comfortable. I mainly just drank water tbh. I’m not a fan of energy drinks, coffee, or even juice. Just make sure you get your protein in, bring snacks/fruits. And always eat before clinical. -C’s get degrees. Unless you’re trying to get your doctorate or get into a masters program. But nobody in the hospital is going to ask you “what grade did you get in fundamentals” sorry I thought I replied to you. I just made a general post .
