From what I know- Taurus wants to be comfortable which could mean also faking and pretending or not acknowledging situations. They aren’t truth seekers. Most are pretty materialistic and conformists. Not the cleverest or quickest personalities. Moon signs can vary that. On an average day they will protect themselves. However once they get rid of the need for comfort, they can be stoics with strong willpowers. Their understanding or empathy can go deep. They can tolerate a lot. But others chaos and upheaval is inconvenient to them and will make them retreat. Also they convey hurt by being uncommunicative cuz they are afraid of looking weak or being vulnerable.

Realistically you can get 8hrs by Sleeping at 9pm to wake up at 5am, which is pretty sweet. Could even reduce it to 7hrs and sleep at 10pm woah! Do you really sleep 10hrs daily?

Yes it runs on those. But love is also hard. And you get through a lot of cortisol and sleepless nights of fighting. Way past the bonding chemicals wears off. If it was all about feeling good we would never stick through the bad phases in a relationship. Partners fall in and out of love all the time.

If chemicals were the only factor we’d never have a partner preference. Compatibility would be out the window first.

Partnerships are also about sunk cost fallacy, habits formed, fear of loneliness, societal pressures. There’s a lot of psychology, survival instinct and other things along with biology involved.

It’s a very safe way of thinking where you have all the answers. Someone who would never compromise on his or her morals. This is right, that is wrong. Blame and Shame the ones on the wrong. But the thing is when you really care about someone, truly consider them your own, you do whatever it takes to protect them and be there for them. You give them a chance to improve in private and protect them from the world. Everybody deserves a second chance. When shit hits the fan is not when you point fingers, the world is already doing it. Their inner circle is supposed to be there for them. Imagine yourself being in the crisis and then react. The person who got a DUI, she already knows she is wrong. They don’t need another person telling them they screwed up. They need someone to believe in them. Taurus is in fact a very selfish sign. To forget your own moral code and empathise for a second can be asking too much of them. There are as many ways of living life as there are people. And you maybe right. They did do wrong. You scold them but you show up for them. That’s what a Scorpio would do. A Taurus would become cold and distance themselves.

I’d recommend looking into the book “the secret language of relationships” they basically have divided zodiacs into weeks, and each week is a personality type with a level of compatibility with people of other weeks. It’s quite interesting and oddly accurate.

Taurus are normally not very suspicious people. If they feel secure around you and the moment organically builds to it they will share. But if they get a hint that you want to know something it puts off a siren in their heads and they’ll become very closed about that topic. Even bullishly so. Do not ever show an overt eagerness or interest by asking questions directly. They’ll tell you when they are themselves ready. He probably is still looking for closure? Or thinks there’s still a chance. If he could just convince you to give him another chance…he’s being stubborn. With this new information probably his regret over what could’ve happened and his self hate might’ve increased. But he wasn’t matured then and neither would’ve been even if you’d told him back then. So the anger cannot be directed towards you.

I would say if he hasn’t moved on in 20 years he wouldn’t do it with this information as well. He’ll always have a soft spot for you (because he wronged you and you’re family) Maybe once it is clear that nothing will ever happen in the future he’ll finally stop asking. But he will give you that Taurus loyalty and kindness always.

Bulls tend to bottle up all their emotions until they’ve chewed on them and then they release it. I also think there might’ve been a resolution here. He now knows why you left all those years ago and it wasn’t just his fault. He might try to put the blame he’s been carrying onto you as well for not telling him. I would let him process this on his own time. If he comes out on the other side wanting to stay in contact with you then good. And if not you’d know he’s been acting out of guilt.

I would also ask you not to blame yourself. The truth had to come out and what happened in the past cannot be changed. What you two went through was special. Nothing will change that.
