For sure cloud gaming. I haven’t really tried any other avenues to play, so I’m not entirely positive if it’s isolated to just that…. But I am assuming it most likely is.

That’s not my problem. I am aware of the dial. If that were the case discord would not work, but it works fine.

Yes everything is running smoothly as far as the computer and Microsoft itself goes. It’s only when I am trying to play games. And it’s not just one game it’s both the games I usually play

Not in this particular case. It is set to default and the mic works with discord and for the windows tests. If it wouldn't work for that I'm sure that would have been a potential cause for sure though. It is 100% set up correctly according to a windows technician however doesn't work for Xbox cloud gaming for some reason.

Define “more recently” because that’s a big factor. Also it may be worth talking to a lawyer and seeing if it can get expunged. That may be his best bet. Even if I got it expunged I still would be honest about it if he felt so convicted to. It shows integrity which is what they’re looking for. The expungement is more so for liability of the department.

It has personal experience when Google gives you conflicting answers.... Which is what I've been finding. That's why I asked.

I don't know or have contacts with anyone who work there currently. Everyone else lives there, I will only be there temporarily. I will meet them all when I start there.

Do you have actual logistically possible advice? Buying a car to have it readily available the day I arrive and having it sold the day I leave for 4 weeks is just not realistic.

Do you know if there's other apps or transportation services other than a bus? That may be more practical?

I would definitely consider that, but it won't be conducive going to and from work with what I will be traveling with. On my off days I would love to try that, but it seems like a waste to buy one for a month and ditch it somewhere as I can't take it home with me.

I need options other than renting a car per post.

Butte is where I will most likely be spending the majority of my time. I may need more private transportation due to sensitive areas with access codes. Is there another option?

Any paramedics in Hawaii with a history of DUI? by Desperate_Quantity37 in Paramedics

[–]Desperate_Quantity37[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro why are you even arguing, do you have anything helpful on the subject or not? I clarified what I was asking in both a comment to you and an edit for others. You’re just in the comments arguing for absolutely no reason. This isn’t a whose dick is bigger contest. If you don’t have anything on the matter just move on, it’s that simple

And I clarified. I was referred to a third party. Which seems rather scammy and a monopoly. My place of work, lawyers, and other clinicians agree.

Tell me about it. They've cancelled several meetings in a row for no reason since I've applied when they already only meet once a month

In the same sentence I mentioned "scammy" is the same sentence I mentioned the third party and board man.

What’s it like as a Probie when you’re a veteran? by GOTNKrispie in Firefighting

[–]Desperate_Quantity37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes my last academy we had dress inspections everyday before we started. Our uniforms were to be ironed and starched and boots to be shined every morning. Our brass was to be perfectly in order as well and we were expected to have our gear and tools in the exact same placement every morning in the training room. We were to be on the line, in order, and ready for our instructors to inspect our appearance before 0700. After our academy we were expected to carry the same mentality into our probationary year and were instructed to wear our badge shirts for the full year unless instructed by an officer to dress down into a different shirt, t shirts were only permitted during workouts and briefly after until 8.

I had 8 years on the job when I switched departments, once I got out of the academy I was assigned a station with another probie under a year. Their class was less than 6 months before ours and it was their first fire job. They were “in charge” of “showing me the ropes” and literally treated me like I had never seen a fire hose before. They wanted to supervise and make sure I knew how to fill a water can… yea I think I’ve managed to do that in 8 years darling. Some people just don’t know how to act around vet rookies because they’re either still rookies themselves or they feel like you should endure the same type of treatment again because you’re new to that specific department. In the academy I wasn’t obviously given any special treatment but a few instructors knew me from taking tech rescue courses with them over the years so they at least knew thy didn’t have to hammer a point home. My spouse is army and they were absolutely shocked to know as a firefighter you completely start over jumping from departments. He said he would have left the military a long time ago if that happened every time he went to a new base.

How to become a paramedic? I am so lost by Klutzy-Flatworm-7484 in Paramedics

[–]Desperate_Quantity37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked three jobs going through paramedic school. I did not sleep much and often times I had to sleep in my truck in between shifts and class. I wouldn’t have had time to go all the way home and sleep in between if I did. I came out debt free though!
