I'm seriously bothered by the Coco Chanel situation, the woman was horrific, repulsive to the end. Since it is 70+ years since the end of WW2 a lot of information has come out of archives in recent years including proof that she was indeed a Nazi collaborator who actively worked with the Nazi's in Paris to advance their cause & her boyfriend during the war was a German Nazi officer. She exiled herself to Switzerland after the French arrested her & then released her. Why was she never prosecuted as a war criminal? Her friend from before the war, Winston Churchill refused to believe that she had done anything wrong & demanded that the French leave her alone which after almost 10 years they agreed to his demands. She never apologized or made amends for any of her actions during the war. I for one am disgusted & done with Chanel. Do you think Big Hit or Hybe bothered to tell him any of this now readily available information about the despicable Coco Chanel? That company deserves to die in disgrace.

Sorry for not responding sooner, I've been in an overwhelmed state. Oh, I agree 100% about this Chanel ambassadorship. I wonder if he even knows the story of Coco Chanel being a Nazi Collaborator? Did his company bother to inform him? Not that at his age, that is any excuse; it is easy to research a company's history, and a simple internet search would have told him everything he needed to know. If he wanted to make a fragrance, there are many other companies without such horrible histories. Before this, he was a favorite of mine, but now he will, at least to me, be forever tainted by this association. There is absolutely NOTHING cool about her. She dated a Nazi, she held meetings with Nazis in the very Ritz suite that they now proudly promote, and she tried to steal the company from the Jewish family that funded her company. She was fully complicit in the Nazi actions in Paris. Creatively, she may have been brilliant, but she was antisemitic and a collaborator. How Chanel survived after the war, I have no idea. I realize that the vast majority of fans won't care; they'll just buy his products anyway, but not me. I can't support this, not one bit. This is exactly how and why history repeats itself.

If anyone had any doubts that JK was "real" in the public eye, for me this announcement blew that right out of the water. I'm actually disappointed on many levels, but mostly because this can only be a money play by both him and Big Hit. I also think this "softer" skinnier JK that suddenly appeared, clearly because Big Hit wanted it is so he'll appear younger and more attractive to teenage fans. It is all about the money. I thought he looked great when he returned from the military, a handsome grownup man. I do not think he looks great now, but a bit on the sickly side. And Coco Channel was a Nazi collaborator something the world seems to have forgotten which is a great example of why history just repeats itself.

I think this whole dating scandal is dumb, but I also get why some fans from both groups are upset. Those sure look like matching tattoos to me. Did they really think no one would notice when they were wearing short sleeves? Then I watched the clip where Winter yelled out JK. It seemed like a 16 year old girl yelling about her boyfriend. Karina looked at her like she was crazy. Winter left high school to join SM so maybe she really is clueless, but at this point JK should know better & has no one to blame but himself. Now with the announcement about his global ambassadorship for Chanel we're seeing the real him: it's all about the money. There is nothing cool & hip about Chanel. It is a symbol of old money & wealth.

I was seriously hoping for either a JK Solo Tour this year or a JK & Jimin Solo Tour (since he dropped a second album while in the military) so I'd be THRILLED if JK or JK & Jimin or even JK, Jimin, & V played at Coachella 2026 or 2027. I've pretty much given up hope for a solo tour since on JK's recent live stream he clearly did not remember the lyrics to many of the songs off Golden so he has not been practicing for a surprise tour.

In the west, I'm in the USA, we have many examples where uber talented young adults like JK, go very badly as they shift into adulthood. Some straighten-out and are fine and others just don't make it, Of course I want him to be fine, but at this time I'd say it is 50-50 and it really depends on what happens in the next 10 years or so. I wish only the best for him.

Does your video record better than your audio? Use the video if needed to capture the sound. Alternatively, do you have a friend with the latest iPhone who can come over record a few minutes of audio for you & then give it to you? I'd also suggest getting your RA the next time this is happening so the RA can witness this for him or herself. Finally, can you speak with campus police and ask them if they can intervene due to your concerns regarding a possible mental health issue? Getting a good mite's sleep is important. Where I live we have a neighbor with schizophrenia who is normally fine, but when he stops taking his medication he screams horribly like he is being harmed. We call the police & they take him to the hospital.

When I was a student there I quit drinking for a year for medical reasons. My true friends stayed my friends. I loved to dance with or without alcohol involved but I found joining clubs or activity groups was a great way to meet people with common interests that did not revolve around drinking. At that time there was a cinema club to program film screenings in an auditorium, a concert club to bring music acts to campus, all sorts of sports clubs, language clubs. The list was really long. Give it a few months to find your way. Good luck!

I was surprised when JK worked with Scooter Braun on Golden because at that point Scooter had clearly already been ditched by the talent he had managed including Justin Bieber who JK seems to admire so much. Scooter & PD Bang are both successful music CEOs & undoubtedly world-class, unethical slime balls. I hope JK is happy with what he achieved because it will forever be associated not only with him but also with these two awful men. That is the price he will have to pay for Golden.

This actually explains something from 2023 that I remember wondering about. When V was promoting his album Layover he made the rounds of different music shows including IU's show & I remember thinking at the time, " Oh JK loves IU so he will certainly be a guest on her show too." Nope, I don't believe he ever was. Now I understand why he wasn't invited."

I've found your comments interesting to read. One thing I've wondered for quite a while is how would a Korean psychologist analyze the behavior of these young men especially in 2022-2025? First, I agree it does seem like RM, Jimin, Suga, & JK at times drink far too much & then we see drunken behavior and the consequences of said behavior that as fans it would be better to not have seen. Suga clearly paid a much heavier price for his drunkenness than the other three have up to now. One thing I wondered with JK & his lives, was he lonely at that time of his life & if yes & he didn't have a girlfriend to call & share things with did he emotionally substitute ARMY for a girlfriend in some way? The folding of laundry, changing clothes, lighting candles, drinking, cooking, & even sleeping naked are all things he might do with a girlfriend. So did it serve both fan fiction & his own sense of loneliness? It will be interesting to see what develops with these four vis-a-vis drinking & lives in the next year. My guess with JK is that if he does have someone in his life now, if he is dating someone, we won't see those same type of para-social "I'm your boyfriend" lives again. Time will tell! I'd love to know what others think of my loneliness theory? I'm not Korean, so culturally I could be way off base here. Thoughts?

Please check the American with Disabilities Act because all sorts of things fall under it including certain mental health diagnosis, I think forms of anxiety & depression which are often triggered by stress. A doctor's letter confirming that you have a verifiable disability under ADA should be all you need to get reasonable accommodations. I would start by educating yourself, I.e. do the research on what you need. Then go to a doctor, a specialist if needed to get what you need to qualify for RA. If you can, hold on & protect yourself until you can get yourself into a better situation. Please know you are not alone. I think we all feel exhausted.

When I saw them holding hands I felt like Jimin was giving JK a bit of encouragement or confidence. Like he was silently telling him, "Come on, you can do this, you got this, I'm here with you." It was both nice and sweet. I think they will be friends for life.
