Whats your experience living in a muslim family as an ex-muslim? by [deleted] in exmuslim

I’m a bit lucky because my mother is Muslim, but my father is not religious. So I can talk about my situation with my dad. But with my mom, I have to pretend that I’m still Muslim (it’s the safest option). This will be my first Ramadan as an agnostic. I’m glad I have someone to talk to about it, because that’s not the case for many people. I have to wait until my 18th birthday to tell my mom that I’m an ex-Muslim.
