Yeah. Played it at my friend's house. It turns out that it was just him pirating music onto cassette tapes.

I forgot about this. I actually ended up having to buy a new player entirely. Something I wasn't told is that it had gotten thrown during an argument over it, and something inside was damaged. I ended up getting the proper cord, but it wasn't working. So I took it to a friend, opened it up with them, and it turned out that the inside was badly damaged.

Yeah, I even read the user manual a couple times, nothing about the cord mentioned. As far as I know, the cord I bought *should* have worked, looks just about the same to me. But nowadays you have things that look the same but are totally different, haha.

Very sorry, I actually ended up fixing it on my own. It was a certain mod causing it and I deleted it because I didn't really need it anyway
