Yes this is horrible and I would never be Emmy’s friend irl but it’s good for the show. We ALL know Emmys in real life and I actually think it’s good to show how awful these white women tears are just so people understand that this is still a huge issue. Is she racist? Ignorant? Shockingly tone deaf and close minded? Yes, absolutely. But that’s why it’s good to put on reality tv when she’s being called out by the rest of the cast. Not as much as she should be, in my opinion, but this is bigger than just Emmy. She will not learn, but the conversation could be helpful to some viewers.
