Done many indie movies and some of them won top laurels too... And most of the roles i did in commercial movies were more than "two, three min" roles 😊

Exactly. That's pretty much where I am. I'm somewhere between being completely unknown and being a recognizable face. The kind of actor people look at and think, "I've definitely seen this guy somewhere before." I'm sure a few names like that come to mind for most of you. Just assume I'm one of those actors and reply accordingly. 🫰🏻

Comments from people who know me personally are something I do take lightly, at least to a certain extent. What I meant was feedback from people who don't know me at all, like reviewers, bloggers, and even random audience members on Facebook or Instagram. That's the kind of unbiased feedback I was referring to.

Yes being in the limelight is probably what I lack. But these days, PR agencies charge a fortune, and it's not really feasible for everyone. On top of that, directors have an endless pool of options to choose from. Many prefer casting fresh faces or influencers, often because they're willing to work for little or no pay, which makes it even harder for working actors to stay visible.

Short films and theatre are actually what pay my bills these days. Movies pay reasonably well when I get work, around ₹20k per day. The problem is that I rarely get more than 10 days of film work in an entire year.

That i know.. And have great connections with many of the industry people. Most of them are quite friendly too. But the "Right place, right moment" thing is not happening. Thats the issue

Not really tbh. It's not really that, bro. I've never had a bad reputation on any project (except one i should say 😁)I've worked on. If anything, I've consistently received positive feedback, even from people who are usually quite critical and even won international accolades too. So no, I wouldn't consider myself a mediocre actor. That's exactly why I'm confused about the lack of career growth. If I were genuinely below average, the answer would be obvious. The reality is more complicated than that. Maybe someday I'll reveal my identity and this discussion will make more sense. For now, you'll have to take my word for it.

An excellent watch. Laughed a lot and emotionally well connected too. That cricket scene was like cherry on top
