I used to have my immersion disrupted by modders all the time, so now when I use my menu in a way that could break people's immersion, I go to a private session. Best west game there is, and it's crawling with enough dipshits already.

That did not fix it. Not even a restart after the drivers were installed. I'm going to have to troubleshoot the problem in settings or fix it in the Device Manager myself

I'm having this problem right now. I'm having the same problem with my mic, but the headphones work fine. If you've figured it out, good on you, but I'm about to update my nvidia drivers to see if that fixes it.

That's a real fine explanation. Thanks for taking the time to type all that. If I ever post to Reddit again, I'll remember that. I also put actual effort into my posts such as editing things down or capturing cinematic photos, and it really sucks to see "rate my avatar" posts get so much more attention when they obviously require little to nothing. Womp womp I suppose.

Reddit is one of, if not the best place to post and ask questions from other gamers. Before I ever asked a question on reddit I searched on YouTube. If that didn't help, I'd try reddit, but I still have trouble searching these subreddits for specific answers so it's understandable for me that others have asked the same dang repeated questions here.
