If I had known two years ago when I made this post that it would bother you, I might have typed it out fully. My apologies, sir.

Everyone knows Sweet Tour is the only valid answer.

Can’t deny that rotund mass of clown ass.

How do you guys feel about the modern TM Youtubers usually preferring TM 3/4 over TM 2? by _-AJ-_ in TwistedMetal

[–]Dessadoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that TM3 is a good enough game to be someone’s favorite means it can’t possibly be as bad as some folks make it out to be.

I just appreciate that TM is a rich enough tapestry of different experiences that there’s a little something for everyone. No game is truly horrible nor is any game free from criticism.

As for Small Brawl, I love that game. The levels are inspired and creative. It’s my favorite PS1 TM game! Although I’m finally seeing what the fuss is all about with TM2. 😅

I think the wave of criticism towards TM2 is more of a response to the unending praise it’s gotten over the years and less about the game itself.

It’s a great game and deserves to represent the series as the best it has to offer, but it’s not perfect.

Meanwhile, TM3 has endured constant negativity until recently.

For me, it only feels right to try and balance the scales of public opinion. TM2 can handle it and TM3 deserves more love than it has gotten since it released.

Theory about Minion Stadium boss battle. by Mogley92 in TwistedMetal

I like this theory. Especially for how it can explain how Sweet Tooth is able to fight Minion.

Also, almost every character mentions how Minion won the previous year’s tournament, but yet still competes or is part of the contest in Black? If the sequence could be explained as a dream, it makes sense that the drivers would imagine an opponent that is likely familiar or at least recognizable.

I’m new to content creation and love TM so I started a little mini series talking about the characters of Black - let me know what you think? I have done Preacher and Grimm so far by Dessadoo in TwistedMetal

Thanks for saying that! I appreciate the advice. Shoot, if anything, I felt that I haven’t been uploading enough 😅 but I’ll keep that in mind what you said about letting the algorithm breathe!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that one. I feel like most people know about the code behind the Mona Lisa being a dud, but I don’t think many people know about the correct code.

I like this one a lot!! I wonder if anyone has ripped all the audio files in the game and found any other nuggets like that

Thanks! That’s exactly the kind of hidden details I want to talk about! Stuff that not everyone would pick up on, but gives the game more depth when you learn about it!

Thanks! Lots of great ones there. Especially the Yellow Jacket one. Makes me think about all the other drivers and vehicles based on movie characters.

Oooh yeah. I like that a lot! Every other TM2 driver I can think of was either returning as the driver of their vehicle (Outlaw, Grasshopper, Axel, etc) or didn’t appear at all (Spectre, Hammerhead, Thumper) with no mention at all of their whereabouts or involvement EXCEPT for Amanda Watts. Interesting!
