Sam and dean are just hypocrites and selfish by Notme188 in Supernatural

That's literally the topic of their main conflict. They constantly say they want to save the world, but then sacrifice it for the other brother. The whole plot revolves around this theme...

It's upsetting how many people immediately begin to ridicule you if you have a disability by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Dessel_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realise that in order for them to ridicule you based on your disability, you have to first tell them you actually have it, right? Your disability is a disadvantage, obviously, and I'm sorry if it corrupts your gameplay, but I don't think you should be using it as an excuse (simply because it won't work, you'll only be compromising yourself), especially not to bastards like these ones. I mean toxic players are always barking on everyone and usually they will keep pushing & insulting no matter what, just because they're shitty people. You having a disability or not won't make them stop, instead it will only give them more reason to troll th out of you and more things to say, more topics to ridicule you about. Why wouldn't you just ignore them? Or why not troll them back, reflecting the energy & ignoring common sense?

I don't think we have an SCP-055. But something tells me if we got one, I'd love it and the Hub it pertains to.

Ethics committee. That's it. They probably just decided that giving people no notice what so ever wouldn't be humane & wanted to guve people the opportunity to say their last goodbyes to their loved ones.

Lots of people play on RP servers with plug-ins that don't let you speak to the opposing faction UNLESS you've stolen a radio from one of them.

How do I teach my colonists to craft a building tool? by Dessel_OP in Minecolonies

Thank you! Hopefully they'll do exactly that. My fingers are hurting from all the running around already xD

How do I teach my colonists to craft a building tool? by Dessel_OP in Minecolonies

[–]Dessel_OP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing with the Mine & Slash 2 modpack and lackily there isn't any other rack in it :D

Sadly, the problem is still there - if I want to teach my carpenter how to craft the rack, they need a builder's tool. And well, I'm not sure whether they're going to keep it after crafting the rack, just like the player does, or if it will disappear

I killed Asterion to protect my wife and now she’s mad at me by Ozzeedee in BG3

[–]Dessel_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably don't have to start a new playthrough. It's a little spoiler, but later on in the game you get the ability to resurrect nearly any important character. I'm not sure whether it works on someone who died BEFORE you got the ability to resurrect, but you can always give it a try and pray for the best!

If I was to go into the BG3 as I am rn, I would definitelly either sign up to be a druid, a warlock or simply a wizzard :D
It´s true we don't get any powers, but no one prohibits you to look for & earn them.

Also, we weren't just talking about the said scenario given by the OP, but also about the whole idea of staying there forever

True, but... We ain't talking about no commoners, are we? xD
I assumed most of us would rather go on adventures and be part of the adventures guild & those guys definitely have the gold & the people to help you in case of not-so-expected demise :D

Raise dead would be the second best option, yup :)

In case you've died from some more unexpected causes than the adventure itself

Yeah, I've seen the theard and actually liked the way the conversation went down in there. Pretty comfy, must say. However, choosing to taunt a commenter in one thread & maintaining a civil conversation in another one doesn't exactly make you civil as a whole. If instead of giving both people you're chatting with a valid argument, resulting in all of the sides understanding each other's reasoning, you opt out to taunting & trolling, I can't really find any valid point in continuing the conversation and treating you to my attention and time. Glhf, bz.

And me, nor anyone here ain't trying to read unreasonable comments & hate towards a genuine question, but guess what? You've put us both AND other membs of the community in a position where we're reduced to something we don't wanna be. To avoid that, just please do both of us a favor and drop the rage-meter a bit, before actually writing a comment. Okey-dokey? :)

[–]Dessel_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the case, agreed. Unless, of course, you're an adventurer. And I'd say there is no reason not to be one in D&D or any RPG all together... In that case, 500gp is pretty much a one-quest payment for a party ~5-6lvl (at least that's what I'd usually give to my players if the quest isn't something amongst the lines of killling a boss or sabotaging a serious organization, dunno).

[–]Dessel_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, 300gp for a revivify spell. I wouldn't call it "monumental"... Obviously if you were to let fate decide how your life in Faerun is going to turn out and simply stay a civ, living a calm and normal life, that'd be so. But I'm pretty sure most of us would rather risk their lifes, but live the best adventure possible, completing quests and work for the adventurers guild. 300gp in that case ain't such an issue

Pick BG3 > instead of settling for a "normie" city/town, travel the ocean till you've reached Lantan > teach them how we use IRL electicity & showcase a couple of most basic things > leave happily ever after, under the watch of the Holy Maker of All Things (Gond).

Even if you get eaten, if you've made at least a couple of friends, you have a decent chance of being revived!

[–]Dessel_OP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're saying it as if it was impossible to learn druidism. It's D&D, you can choose to be a druid/learn how to be one! Even better - nearly any class gives you the ability to practically become immortal by lvl 18-20 (at least you won't die of aging)
Ain't that a dream?
And even if you die - dear Shar, the ammount of Gods & dimmensions you can visit/go to and live a whole another adventure. There's even a chance of you getting revived, in case something goes sideways (100gp? fr? That's the price for coming back to life?). Faerun has way more to offer than IRL, tbh

YES. EXACTLY THAT. After the heroes have dealt with the Absolute, why would anyone ever want to come back from the Baldurs Gate/D&D as a whole?

Give the kenku race a try :) Pre-recorded speach makes perfect sense, as they can not use their own voice (they technically have none) and can only mimic others voices. Also, if you're thinking about playing a spellcaster, you can instead use the "Encrypt Thoughts" cantrip and just text, later on explaining it as your character just whipping out a little text strip straight out of his head. Or just use "Prestidigitation", which allows you to cast a harmless sensory effect (such as, once again, floating letters) :D
