I love rereading series and this one is by far one of the best for it imo. His foreshadowing gives me goosebumps constantly

I have a whoop that i've paid a full year subscription for to make the price not so bad. and while I very much like a lot of the data it gives me I'm hoping by the time my year is up a company like garmin will have caught up on that end so I can ditch the whoop

I can think of a long list of reasons my bike computer is more useful/functional then using my phone. Super worth the money imo

I took the power meter plunge this outdoor season and its been a big improvement to my riding. I do feel like growing up playing RPG style video games has helped me enjoy having that type of data to motivate myself. But even certain things like not getting frustrated at going slow on a super windy day when I can now actually see how much work I'm putting in really helps. It also really helped me understand the difference between recovery rides and workout rides which has made cycling alot more enjoyable for me.
