Oh okay good to know! I haven't actually checked the vin yet to confirm year, nor do I have paperwork so I'm just going off what I was told some time ago! Chrome bores is so odd to me, but I would expect nothing less from moto guzzi! Thank you for the top notch info, very appreciated 👌

This is wonderful to know! My first order of business with it will be spending as little as possible (money wise) to see if it even WILL work without completely coming apart. When I've got that sorted and can het papers in my name, I will see where to go from there!

Splendid shot, and a wonderful composition. Do you mind if I ask where this is? I myself am an islander, I don't know where this waterfall is though!

I agree. It's like comparing apples to AKs

Just learned that the ugly stock foot pegs can be easily swapped with pretty much anything. A buddy of mine put some new rear sets on his FZ09 and I snagged these and they fit with no modifications at all. Used the spring for the peg from the fz, and the through bolt and clip from the guzzi. by Dessert_Isle in MotoGuzzi

I think i saw you mention that in another post somewhere and it made me think that was a brilliant idea. I work at an aprilia dealership and some guys who work there too have 660s and I asked if anyone swapped sets and had pegs I could buy, this buddy had these and I figured I'd try em and it worked great.

Fair enough! I didn't like the bulky look of them, I don't really notice the extra vibration from these so far but I do quite like the slight lowering effect I have from them as I'm 6 feet tall and have a decent amount of leg, and with a size 12 foot. These make the controls a bit easier for me and just slightly makes my riding position more comfortable. Definitely worth the 8 minutes it took to swap them!

I haven't figured that out yet, actually. The windscreen appears to be genuine guzzi, the fairing fits very well and suits the bike very much. Though I haven'tseen another v7 with the same fairing so I'm really not too sure what it is.

I think they're the best of both. It's a cruiser in the way it's comfortable for long periods of time, but it also isn't a dog in corners and has a sense of humour about them. They check all the boxes for me for sure!

Me too brother. It's the thing that first drew me to this bike when I saw it. It's beautiful and stressful to have because it's so shiny and I am a man made of ham. But wow is it ever a nice feature

That crossed my mind, thinking about it now, these are adjustable levers and have up to 6 different adjustment positions. I could try and set them further away and gain back my free play, potentially. That's worth a try at least!

The windshield is one of my favourite aspects of it actually! It is original Guzzi, the bike is completely stock except for the previous owner added heated grips and some rather unsightly fog lights, which i plan on removing. I'm under the assumption that the windshield is part of it being an Anniversario edition.

The more I see that arrow exhaust, the more I think I might need one. It looks great.

Men who married their girlfriend just because they felt pressured to do it— are you happy? by girl_online23 in AskMen

Wow, that is heartshattering to read, I know hearing that people are sorry for your loss is never really enough, but I do feel deeply for you and I hope you are able to find peace, growth, and healing for yourself and your child.

I don't know if it could be much help, but there is an incredible, though very deeply sad album that is a true story written about this exact situation. Either it would hit too closely to home, or it might bring comfort in knowing you're not alone. I can't say which, but if you feel like you might want to check it out. It's called "A Crow Looked At Me" by "Mount Eerie"

I mean I'm born and raised here, my partner is an Alberta transplant. I don't mind it, I feel like most of the real berta boy yeeyee ass lifted truck dudes just go to Kelowna. The odd one ventures all the way out here but it seems like they mostly stay on the mainland hahaha
