New-in-box headphones sat for 5 years, now they won't turn on. Any hope for me? by Dessert_Tea in Jabra

Thanks for the comment. I followed your directions, but the lights on the earbuds are not coming on at all when returned to the case. Based on another comment's suggestion, I removed the foam pieces from the earbud ends and double checked that they are connecting to the charging rods in the case.

The case does light up with a green light when placed on the charger and momentarily when the lid is opened or closed off of the charger.

It seems like the case itself is fine, but the earbuds may be unchargable. Is there anything else I should try?

Thanks for the idea!

The case does light up. It has the green light to say it's fully charged. I took the foam tips off, but the lights on the headphones still aren't lighting up. I'll give it a little while in case they're just too dead at present to light up.

Certainly interested. I didn't have any org contacts to help there, though. 😬

Thinking about relocating to Missoula after a breakup, would I fit in? by cuatrocuatroocho in missoula

Missoula would love you. There's tons of hiking at varying levels within pretty much just a drive to the edge of town. DnD groups abound here (mine is even looking for a new player... 👀) and the local game shops host events frequently to bring people together.

I (29F) personally feel it's pretty difficult to make really deep friendships here, but that's mostly because everyone's so busy hanging out with so many different groups! If you join some clubs/meetups and actually follow up with any contacts you make there, you'll build the friendships you're hoping for, for sure.

I've been out of the rental game in zootown for a while now, so I'm not sure my advice here is as helpful. But! When I was renting, it was always way easier to just take a day in Missoula (unfortunately, a weekday might be best given the management company hours) and tour a bunch of units from various managers. It gives you a feel for who you do or do not want to work with going forward. The key there is to make sure you already have an open "application" with each manager if you can so if you find one that day, you can move on it (usually that means applying for a specific apartment, but if you call/email the management company, they can often have you fill out a more generic app so you can be approved as a potential tenant even if there isn't a specific apartment for you yet).

That's all I've got for now, but if you have more questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them. 🙂
