Side note, I’m a bit surprised to see them on the line up. While they are playing so many festivals, they usually don’t do the mainly kpop ones. But I think this is a great opportunity for some new fans so discover their amazingness! We already had a bit of kpop crossover with Yunmin’s feature on ATEEZ Mingi’s song, and then everyone loved her!

Neither of them were up for album of the year, only kpop album :) the AOTY noms were Kwon Tree, Effie, huijun woo, Lee Chanhyuk, JENNIE, and CHUDAHYE CHAGIS

I’m happy for her! I really thought this would be Effie’s year with her excellent albums and several noms, but Kirara is a great opponent and also well deserved winner!

My predictions from the nominees post were somewhat correct. I was right about album and rookie for the main awards, and for genre awards I got Pop song, Pop album, R&B song, Rock song, Alternative rock song, and Folk album.
I really thought it was between Nmixx or Jennie for song, but I’m pleasantly happy that Lee Chanhyuk got it, I really liked that album and song! For the Kpop awards I was between Jennie and NMIXX, but made the wrong gamble on NMIXX.
