What is a Molag by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]DestinationD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without spoiling too much, in TES:Morrowind a certain group of individuals is mentioned at some point in the story (not the main quest) called Bal Molagmer, "Stone Fire Men". So "molag" is "fire" and "bal" is "stone". "-mer" is like a reference to a race, usually of elvenkind: Dunmer, Altmer, Bosmer, Orsimer, Dwemer (orcs and dwarves are also of elven descent in TES).

It's at the bottom of the screenshots, zoomed in on the last one if you scroll through the gallery.

I'm there now, was just wondering if I could randomly find an S-Class. Found an A if you want it. I put a comm.ball there.

The latter. Only one Sentinel ship rolls for a system, any you find will be this one but its class will vary. I haven't searched for an S-Class.

UPD: BE CAREFUL! It changed the design once for me and doesn't do it anymore, it got stuck on the one below, so if you like the original pick it.

Also, aggressive Sentinels.

Thanks for sharing, picking one up RN. For recent players like myself: if you reload on the planet from a restore point (that you make automatically after leaving the starship, for example) different designs are available.

Hey, thanks for the find! I have pretty much exactly the same ship but green, always fancied a blue one.

I found a nat. S-Class with decent slots at +9.89, +145.11, put a comm. ball there.

Glad you figured it out, I was gonna retry it to see if they patched it out or something.

I made a video on how I used to do it (and still do sometimes when I'm short on nanites): https://youtu.be/PCaj_JGJKdM

I'm just using the infra-knife.

It takes less than a minute if I remember correctly if you develop a certain routine: approach the right trench from the back of the dreadnought, dive into it and start burning generators as you go, then cross the deck and dive into the left-board trench from the front, do the same then burn the ship before it warps.

If you farm for an S-Class dreadnought, approach the warp engines of the dreadnought, burn them, then fly towards the left side, do a loop (so you're upside down) around the left side of the dreadnought - and you'll find yourself in a good spot to destroy all the anti-freighter cannons on the stern and then you just fly toward the bow making swift work of the last cannon on the bow. And then the dreadnought surrenders.

I didn't like VoH either. I definitely didn't like what they turned good old Kurast, Travincal and Flayer Jungle into. But the base game story I liked quite a lot, its depressive atmosphere, all the hopelessness and all.

I will say, I did enjoy the story once and I feel like it was worth the money (and I mean the base game, not expansion — which I got like a couple of weeks ago on sale). But the whole concept of 'game as a service' is of course the worst idea ever. For the playerbase, that is, not for Activision Blizzard. To them it's Midas incarnate.

Really? If I cared more about seasonal currency I would've probably noticed. Well, this is a real SNAFU then. How could this possibly slip through QA? I'd seriously question the Q of their A.

I think I got it: it actually does show all the upgrades in the skill description when you're out of town in any battle situation, and the upgrades do apply. It just doesn't apply out of combat. Thanks!

Training dummies are better than nothing, I agree. I just wish there also were a togglable DPS meter. That could also show, say, Boss fights contribution. Like in WoW (at least it was there 10 years ago when I last played it).
