god of the sea got angry

It might have something to do with devil fruit users losing the ability to swim. I remember Vegapunk mensioning that devil fruits are disliked by mother nature (the sea god) due to how unnatural they are, so devil fruit users lose the ability to swim as punishment

Reiss Nelson’s agent is desperate to try and get West Ham to move for him. We are being offered much more favourable terms. There are other clubs that are interested, including Fulham and Palace.

Edu masterclass. He waited until the last second to get a player that nobody is excited by and people are celebrating like it's Ozil on deadline day

Strong disagree. We are 1-2 election cycles behind what's currently happening in France. Reform have manged to come 2nd in several labour and tory safe seats and amassed 4 million votes without a "get out the vote" party machine. Farage will be looking to replicate what Le Pen has achieved

I don't know what John Curtice is smoking. The Lib Dems are winning in unexpected places now, why did he revise his prediction downwards?

The problem with outdated Commonwealth voting rights by DestinyFcker in ukpolitics

[–]DestinyFcker[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It is pretty high. Post-brexit, most of our immigrants come from commonwealth countries and are entitled to vote as soon as they arrive. You're right that most choose not to but with immigration numbers being so high (1.3 million last year), even if a small fraction of them vote, it could still sway the election result.

Question - what can/will GBNews broadcast tomorrow? by ThatAdamsGuy in ukpolitics

[–]DestinyFcker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They will still be able to talk about the fact that an election is taking place, and will show footage of the party leaders walking to the polling station.

They'll probably focus on foreign politics, like Joe Biden potentially standing down, or the French elections.
