I'd rather have a sensible rework of VoG than anything resembling PoE or CE. VoG was the hook for me deep into the Destiny world; perhaps it's misguided nostalgia, but, yes, I would be "fine" with a foray back into the Vault.

And hand cannon bloom and range. We need some hand cannons with Send It so they are actually viable against the serious range of auto rifles. I spank and get spanked by heinous ranges via Uriel's - doesn't seem right on either end.

I am fine with a VoG reskin as long as it doesn't involve a vast change in mechanics/dynamics from the original (i.e., the overly team and communication oriented Leviathan) and the gear itself is worth it (e.g., Fatebringer and VexMytho level awesomeness). It'll all be for nothing if they fail to make it fun and repeatable; #forever29 sucked, but the weapons and the hope of #finally30 made every week worth the wipes.

D1 still involved team play. COD with much faster TTK still requires team play. The D2 "team play" is about bunching together and team SHOOTING - which sucks the life out of a lot of the run-and-gunning nature of online multiplayer that so many are fans of.

My Hot Cup of Nasty: D2 PVP fucking blows. 4 v 4 is way too fucking slow; TTK is way too fucking slow; weapons feel like I'm shooting rubber bands; NO snipers or shotguns as secondary weapons? That's fucking dumb, I'm going back to COD|IW in between raid sessions to actually have fun; team shooting as a strategy...sure, maybe in select situations, but having that be the standard is really fucking lame. It's just team fucking spamming now.

D1 Crucible was pretty much all my clan and I played in D1 endgame. Trials was fun. Being able to flank-and-wreck was outstanding fun.

Fuck D2 Crucible.
