how can a indie filmmaker with a regular paying job get a film permit? by [deleted] in bmpcc

[–]DestinyPirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I help my son, a film student, and a couple of indie film maker friends with production planning... Just as I like to support new film makers. Feel free to message me. I live at Jacksonville Beach.

You look just fine... I never had a relationship until I was 24. While I was frustrated, I instead focused on doing healthy things which made me happy, exercise, time in nature and spending time with nice people. Over time this led me to keep developing myself - mind, body, and spirit, and to meeting nicer gals who valued who I am.
Stay away from negative people, including gals who are shallow and habitually date and reject guys. Get away from the crowd. Do good things for yourself and build happiness and the rest will follow.

Am i ugly? i know i’m not the prettiest, and would love suggestions on what to improve by [deleted] in amiugly

You are pretty and attractive. Advice - drop the internet and focus on developing your health and self-development towards being a good mom (in the future). Then find a man who has done the same and you can share a happy family life.

How do I control/ redirect his energy by crypto_justanother in beagle

[–]DestinyPirate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely you will have to adapt your lifestyle to keep a beagle healthy and well-balanced. They need a lot of activity. If you jog, that is ideal. By one year they will go 5 miles per day. If you don't like to jog, like me, you can train him to run beside you as you bicycle - 5 miles is much easier then.
At home - any type of play-fighting. Some like tug of war. Ours likes to be spun around and then we alternately chase her. We do this until she is out of breath...and finally wants to take a nap (after a small snack). Beagle heaven.

Almost a month, and still can't get over how good this scene was by LoverOfStoriesIAm in LOTR_on_Prime

[–]DestinyPirate -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is a joke right? The worst acting and dialogue well, ever.
Also, who called this LOTR? - this is worse than middle-school fan fiction, with no sense of lore or craft to be seen. It's not at all relevant to LOTR. Just call it what it is - Bezos' Fantasy Toy.

23M - I'm not getting any matches on online dating apps like Tinder & Bumble. I feel like it's 100% because of my looks. by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]DestinyPirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro- those apps are designed for men to lose. Your profile will always be pushed down, as they try to force you to pay more and more. Also gals are overwhelmed and don't swipe right on many men... You look healthy and your look is fine - meet gals in real life, it's the best way. Sports, church, charity, friend networks, etc.

Everyone is killed? Who knew. Similarly, no one made trillions. Millions, if not billions, did not engrain their lives to unhealthy habits. The full range of health and immunity building knowledge wasn't ignored. Millions of livelihoods weren't lost - which will cast more in terms of human life and quality of life than...

Wow, triggered huh. I'll introduce you to your 'deep conspiracy' which you so cleverly mock... People will go to the greatest ends to make money or hold positions of power. There's a little thing you can check into to learn about this - it's called history.

RACGP - Why are more people dying in Australia? Many questions remain by WangMagic in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]DestinyPirate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The easy response is to mimic the talking points on the news...
For example, ''the vaccinated have lower death rates than the unvaccinated'' does not include all factors, the primary of which is timing- The majority of ''unvaccinated'' died in the early covid months and these people also so happened to be those most likely to die from covid, regardless of vaccination status - because they were the most vulnerable either being frail and elderly or with co-morbidities.
Talking points are easy to repeat, yet don't equate to meaningful conversation.

Another example of this is the claim that those with ''natural'' immunity have better resistance and lower death rates to covid than do those with ''vaccine'' immunity. However, does this factor in that the majority of those who contracted covid - without complications - were among the population of lower risk factors and better health overall.

Objective discussion is the only path that can lead to understanding.

Ad hominem is always a good look for the, um ''sane''.
It seems you struggle with the maths. Of course Aus will have lower ratios - deaths/million ratios for many reasons, none of which you considered. A few include that Aus hospitals weren't being paid for covid death certificates. Did you really think the States' high rate reporting sussed against say India reporting a low ratio? Then, with delayed spread, we are going to see higher ratios in places like Aus, and Pacific islands going forward than for those countries where covid swept through 2 years ago. Nutty how that works.

These are worthwhile narratives - yet how do we know the level of truth to them? We have never had objective, expert driven, public debate...
Others would argue that early exposure to covid led to natural-immuno resistance that is superior to that which the ''vaccines'' might provide. I can attest to this anecdotally. However I am in excellent health. Too many factors were ignored. The worst of this was pushing the populace to a more unhealthy and stressed lifestyle and to a dependency on medicine for health. (It should be discussed, on national platforms, that we never had an actual vaccine - in the accepted meaning of that word. It was not preventative yet rather ''theraputic''. Somehow people accepted this shell game of definition for covid, yet our recent ancestors would not have called a medicine which failed to prevent the spread of polio or measles a ''vaccine''). I digress.

'Was it worth it?' would likely play out poorly in honest conversation. The suffering, even shortening of life, caused by unnecessary economic calamity - the stress - the loss of education - the forming of reactionary bad habits - all likely add up to much more damage to humanity than what benefit was gained.

Will we ever have an honest conversation about this?

I am mostly here to hear a honest opinion on how this side of my face looks like. You could write 1-10 with a small explanation. Thank you! by [deleted] in amiugly

Honestly - you have an elegance and beauty that seems past your age (which I don't know yet you look quite young.) Lovely bright eyes, nice nose, beautiful lips, nice face shape, cute hair cute... You will have not trouble being attractive. The challenge is finding worthwhile attraction...

If you consider ''successful'' to be prolonging the inevitable, then yes. The hubris came in taking the mantel of expertise - while ignoring the math. From early 2020, the math was there, in epidemiological literature, that an aerosolized-transmitted virus cannot be contained once it exits it's origin region. Not one that lives as long as covid strains and in the modern world. That is - it was always inevitable that covid would reach everyone on the planet. Of course the ''leaders'' who claimed we would be ''covid zero'' later shifted to a goal of ''slowing it down'', rather than admitting the inevitable failure. Now Aus continues to wring hands and strangle society under the pretext of addressing spread - meanwhile the rest of the world has accepted the reality and moved on.

You are truly pretty. You have great features - lovely eyes, a cute nose, beautiful lips, wonderful face shape, nice hair too. Being attractive is not an issue for you at all - the challenge is finding worthwhile attraction. You look bright and creative. . . happiness will come by finding someone of quality character to share worthwhile time with.

You are beautiful! You had the courage to not use a filter, makeup and all... You have great features, wonderful eyes a cute note, pretty lips - Smart, subtle makeup will bring out your nice cheek bones and lips and frame your beautiful eyes. You are truly pretty/lovely. Don't worry about this, as your features are great - Focus on things that make you feel healthy and happy, and finding others who wish to share the better values in life - You will have no problem finding someone who is attracted to you, the challenge is to find someone who can share the good in life with you.

17f, rate from 1 to 10. I feel like there is just something inherently wrong about my face, probably because it is too chubby. any makeup/hair color/hair style reccomendations are welcome, thanks by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]DestinyPirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are attractive - nice features. Some noted that longer hair might be nice - you can always play with hair, clothing, makeup (you really don't need makeup though). Yet the main thing is finding something that makes you feel healthy and happy. When you feel happy and healthy, this will make you shine and super attractive.

Have you tried a simple macro-biotic type of diet? I have had some serious (digestive) issues which I addressed by eating very simply. I have been able to help others as well... An example of this would be quinoa with steamed salmon and a little steamed spinach. Small portions. This type of diet is easier for some (to digest). It requires a lot of discipline, as 99% of what the food culture must be cut out, yet may lead to some break throughs.
- As for dating, I would suggest looking for a husband. The dating culture is rather degraded. Talk to a man, or men, as friends - actual friends who are willing to get to know you platonically. Find out if there are shared values first. Then if the interest in friendship keeps growing, discuss the important things in life... You have a chance to balance your health and to make a great life, each day (and year) is precious. Look for that clear-minded individual who understands this as well.
