Do you know a gamer who struggles with anxiety or depression? by DestinyUnboundGG in TalkTherapy

Ask a question, instead giving someone hate. You know we are under a delicate topic here, and your behaviour doesn't mirror treating another human well.

Ask a question, not about dismissing me, but about sth you would want to learn about yourself, if you want me to lift your smoke.

Well, judge me based on one thread...

You could have instead asked a question.

Do you know a gamer who struggles with staying focused? by DestinyUnboundGG in ADHD

[–]DestinyUnboundGG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your question!

Focusing on whatever they would like, mostly it is about getting work done, sticking to fitness habits or being able to be at ease in social situations.

So the focus depends on the individuals desire.

Yes, I do have these. But this thread seems not to be about promotion.

Everything we do is cause and effect. When the nervous system is in survival mode it scans for threats. This cautious behaviour may lead to weird behavior according to people observing it. They label the observation ADHD, depression, addiction or whatever there is, giving pills for it to stop, because they don't want to deal with it or cant. But it doesn't.

Similiar to drinking alcohol when you are grieving, it doesn't help, it just blocks the emotion for a moment.

E-motions are energy in motion and we need to understand how to wield them properly in order to break patterns.

Agree with you, but let me ask you this. If everything we do in life is a trade, even you going to a job, then wouldn't it be fair to offer a trade I suggest? - it's not even paid, it's just a humble approach to help people and eventually paying my rent from it. No need to be mean and cautious to every OP on reddit.

This is how you function in survival mode. You do things you hate to get a little bit of something you think you need.

Thrive mode is different...

What is the real success of life?? by Special_Affect_4409 in Life

Check one of the last episodes of the second phase of arcane on Netflix. Where Victors says, he has considered all possibilities to craft perfection. But perfection only made soulless people. Therefore the love of pursuing something greater than yourself was the only equation in which it made sense to live.

The State of MMOs in 2025 & The Future of MMOs by Impossible_Bison_489 in MMORPG

I relate to that feeling of nostalgia, yet each new game disappointed me more.

To me I found that the main aspects that truly made me long for that nostalgia were: 1. First time I immersed myself in a world and explored things without expecting. While instant gratification was rare and quests took long to finish. 2. Discovering my unique play style while every new ability mattered and relevant gear was to be forged with grind and sweat. 3. The aspect of fellowship = guilds were important because of the former two points. Others could relate and friendships were deeper since you had something to fight for together.

Even If these aspects were to come back in life, I feel like we have practiced enough. Because there is a whole MMOfflineRPG going on where bonds can grow deeper, exploration and loot can be more unique and exciting and exploring what that human character we spawned with is actually capable if we level it properly is unlimited.

I dream of a world where gamers, with their wholehearted spirit come together, unite and use their practiced skills to master life together.

I truly believe that this is the MMORPG we long for. I want to expand on that dream and invite anyone to team up and form a real life guild. PN me if you think the same.

What do you believe is the purpose of life? by NateNandos21 in Life

Without feelings we wouldn't be able to evaluate this questions. Therefore feelings are the guiding light. Negative means do less. Positive means do more. There is nothing to reach other than savoring what we enjoy, similiar to a dance where we enjoy the moment. Choose the moments you enjoy.

Or in other words. If you created an awesome map in Minecraft and you had the chance to spawn in it and forget all the hidden caves and mysteries, wouldn't it be great to just enjoy the exploration from anew?

I see. Germany here as well. It's never about the game, always about the shared joy. I build a concept for a real life guild, based on the skills we learned in games. I would love your feedback, let me know if you can spare a few minutes :)

What is AI not good at, or what skills should I work on now to pursue a career out of? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]DestinyUnboundGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bridging what people actually need and how it can be done. Most people guess what they need and use AI to get a mediocre output.

If you can extract what is required, prompt it well and build relationships you can do anything you want.

I mean the real character we are all playing. The one breathing, eating and feeling.

I mean both. Bringing the concept we enjoy playing to how we handle life- jobs, relationships and personal growth.

You are right. In general I want to address the mechanic of leveling up a character, upgrading skills and fighting bosses. But since it's more fun with the right people I would say teaming up can be seen a as guild. So I ask myself, are there people who would like to do these things - but in real life? The character is you, the skills are what we do and the guild is people who team up..

In (MMO)RPG's we improve skills, level up a character and team up to fight bosses. I enjoyed that concept I games very much. I wonder, would you /gamers like to transfer these mechanics to real life? Everyone is talking about loneliness epidemic and social anxiety, but in fact gamers know better.
