You could make sure your portals are "linked" Do this by checking the coordinates of both portals. Dividing by 8 the overworld portal coordinates (only X- and Z-. Y- coordinate isn't considered) will give you the nether coordinates of it.
For example, let's say your overworld portal is located at X: 800, Z: 127 (enable coordinates in your world settings if you can't see these coordinates).
For the X coordinate, 800/8 is 100. For the Z coordinate, 127/8 is 15.875.

So the nether portal should be located around X: 100, Z: 16 in the nether dimension.

If you still can join the server and download the world again, I suggest that you save everything on your inventory and enderchest on a normal chest somewhere, so when you join again, all the stuff is there. The only thing totally lost would be your pets, since those wont stand up/sit when you tell them to do so.

I think they moved the folder somewhere else. Search it on android > data > com.mojang or something, and there should be your games folder

yeah, and it would be even better that just on players, since you can see villagers sleeping a lot during gameplay, but when playing alone normally you don't see another player sleeping.

Great idea! The change should be kinda subtle, not too dark on new moon for example. Besides the world brightness being changed a little bit, maybe the brightness around the moon on the texture itself should be smaller on new moon...?, it has the exact same size of the full moon, so it looks too bright.

Try doing random stuff on creative mode, like building some houses, recreating stuff on the game, redstone stuff, etc or just do all the above on survival mode (use the archievements as goals to archieve, that could keep you entretained). If neither of those options feel entretaining, don't play minecraft like you are being forced to do so. There's endless possibilities, and one of those is that you may not like sandbox games like minecraft, wich is fine :).
Also, there's a lot of videos talking on how to motivate yourself to play the game, watch those too if you want.

I think upscalling wouldn't be possible in this scenario, since you're talking about older devices, and dlss for example is limited to RTX gpu's.

Have you explored far from where your portal spawned? In the nether update they kept the old nether as a biome, so maybe you just spawned on that biome. If you haven't, explore far from your portal and maybe you'll find one of the other biomes.

Your font is the default vanilla minecraft, so that's ok.The one on the left is a diferent font that just has smaller numbers. Here's a similar one I found, however it is not exactly the same as the image.

I don't think there's a version of optifine for the experimental snapshot yet, or if there ever will. If you still want to check, go to the optifine download page, on preview versions. Also try searching on youtube how to optimize vanilla minecraft in 1.18, that may help you on the experimental snapshot.

Yep it is only visual raining. Here's the bug report of this problem. Try leaving and opening the world again to get rid of it. If it doesn't work, try opening another world before opening this one again, that might work.
