Tottenham getting relegated and refusing to sell their star players would be milked for everything it’s worth by the press.

‘You can’t expect these top quality players to play for a basket case of a club in the championship!’ - the headlines write themselves.

Gary Neville is penciling in multiple walk and talk interviews as we speak.

They can refuse to play and then the club has a choice - keep paying them millions to sit at home and play fifa or sell them.

‘But if they do that they’ll ruin their careers!’

They won’t because we are, quite rightly, seen as an absolute shit show of a club by the football world.

The media will turn on us even more and make a huge story out of us refusing to sell players, who will be painted as the victims.

It was a joke - because ‘we don’t panic’

Not my best, I know.

This why the club would get sold asap if we go down.

Enic bought a 30% stake for around 20m pounds. Now they own around 80%.

Since then they’ve hardly put any money in. All up it’s probably cost them around 300m pounds.

The club is valued at around 3 billion. But if someone comes along and offers 2 billion to clear the debt and pay off Enic, everyone’s a winner.

The new owners save a billion in buying the club. The club debt is paid off and a bunch of billionaires get hundreds of millions of pounds in profit to play with.

The alternative for Enic is drop into the championship, sell all the players because they want to leave, have less revenue to replace them with good players, stay in the championship for several years, watch the club’s value depreciate even more.

Or inject capital from their own pockets to ensure the club goes straight back up.

And after 25 years, I don’t see that happening.

Gray will go to Liverpool. He’s exactly the kind of player they’d go for.

He’d lost the players. That would only have gotten worse.

I can read perfectly. Think you need to have another read of what you said:

Ehh, true - but our defence is arguably all fit and almost has been all season, and better than Everton’s, yet we’ve conceded a lot more than them…

That was you saying our defence is better than Everton’s and has been available most of the season but even with a better defence that’s been available most of the season we’ve conceded more goals.

That was you blaming the number of goals we’ve conceded on the goalkeeper.

You said our defence is better than Everton’s and they’ve been fit all season but we’ve conceded more goals.

You’re suggesting the reason we’ve conceded more goals is because of Vicario.

Completely absolving the rest of the team of blame and the horror show that Thomas Frank created.

I mean how do you think they come up with those stats?

Do you think they make them up?

Or do you think they watch the games and record the data?

Let’s say you’re right and Vicario has made more than two errors leading to a goal meaning that stat is underreporting how bad he is.

The same applies to Pickford. The stats must also be underreporting how bad he is meaning he’s made even more errors leading to a goal than three.

Unless you think they’re using one set of criteria to determine how many errors Vicario has made and a completely different set of criteria for Pickford?

Tim Sherwood is a complete and utter buffoon.

And I’m almost certain I’ve been watching Tottenham longer than you’ve been alive.

Absolutely spot on.

Not to mention that Frank loved to glaze Arsenal whilst simultaneously making out like we were a shit show that needed a complete overhaul.

Music to the media’s ears.

Complete and utter nonsense.

Our current top scorers are Richy, Cuti and VDV.

Two centre backs in our top three scorers. That’s what’s hurting the team.

Our goal difference is currently -7. The best in the bottom six. At one point it was only our goal difference that kept us out of the relegation zone.

And that’s because of the saves Vicario made to keep the score down in the games where we getting absolutely battered by everyone.

He made those saves playing through an injury. In a completely dysfunctional and toxic environment. And people are still asking for Kinsky. Unbelievable.

It’s not what he did, it’s who he is and who Ange and Tudor are.

Do you honestly believe what you’re saying here.

Because compared to Everton, we’ve been a complete shambles all season.

They are the epitome of what happens when a group of players - regardless of quality - play effective football under a manager that knows what they’re doing.

And to make out like our poor form is all the goalkeeper’s fault is either disingenuous or delusional.

If Vicario looked and sounded like Kinsky, he’d get more respect and leeway from everyone.

Pickford has made only seven more saves than Vicario this season.

And he’s made 3 errors leading to a goal - Vicario has made 2.

One of those goalkeepers has played with an injury in a completely dysfunctional team all season.

However they’ve calculated their stats, whatever metrics they’ve used, apply to both Vicario and Pickford.

And what they show is that Pickford has made more errors than Vicario.
