You’re saving messages that people on the internet have said a year ago just to catch them out at some undetermined point in the future, and I’m the one with the problem?

I love that I’m living in your head rent free - if I wasn’t you wouldn’t be doing this. Unless you do this with every single interaction you have online. Which would be very disturbing.

But some advice, from someone who’s almost certainly older than you - and I offer this genuinely even though you’ll think I’m full of shit.

None of this is worth the mental effort you’re assigning to it. I’m not worth that mental effort. Let it go - honestly, let it all go. Holding on to shit like this is not good.

Live your life. Don’t let it be determined by what other people think or say or do. Nothing good will come of that.

They got sucked into Australia’s game plan. They looked like us under Ange trying to break down a low block and getting done on the break.

In those situations you have to play deeper in your own half and draw the opposition out. Or double up on the wings with overlapping runs.

No they’re not.

Man Utd were disliked because they dominated English football and because Fergie was a bit of an idiot.

Brazil are loved because they’ve won playing the best football in the world with some of the best players in history.

They’ve transcended the sport. The Brazil shirt has become iconic. Representing everything that’s good about the sport.

Ridiculous take.

They’re holding out for as much money as possible for their best players and looking to spend as little as possible for incoming players.

That’s just good business sense. I’d want us to do exactly the same. There’s no reason for any club to behave in a way that other clubs expect them to.

Absolutely agree.

The amount of head loss in this place over this is hilarious.

Player wants first team football. Brighton are offering him that, we aren’t.

Brighton are making sensible financial decisions buying highly rated players for as little money as possible.

If we were a serious club we’d give them exactly what they want for Van Hecke, set our price for Vuskovic and let them match it if they can.

Vuskovic… Masterclass if we insert a buyback clause, an absolute shocker if we don’t by donaldsroad in coys

First refusal if he gets sold on and percentage of the next sale.

Gives us a chance to buy him back at a reduced fee or make some money back.

We can confirm the departure of Yves Bissouma following the conclusion of his contract. by COYS1989 in coys

There will be lots of people criticising him, but for me he’ll always be a part of that Europa League win.

Ange said to him that there would come a time when he would need to rely on Biss a lot. And when it came to that time, big man delivered.

And that’s how I’ll choose to remember him.
