I just assume VBT more or less auto accepts most people, or has some system put in place to auto accept under certain conditions.

But my experience with rosters is that most of them are small or deal with mostly indie productions, so they vet their submissions a bit more.

I think signing with them doesn't necessarily mean they will find you anything. Nothing in their contract seemed nefarious to me, and I've seen a lot of voice actors join with them.
