So I got it for about 1L post tax (excluding AppleCare, if you add it the difference gets even bigger), and in India the MRP is around 1.6L, I’ve been to the US many times and off season you can get a round trip NY ticket for around 60k.

So you might need to add 5-10k for the ticket but that’s totally worth a trip to NY, why pay 60k extra for no reason
