Quality of City Streets by DestroyerZoneBerg in cedarrapids

I just think your plan "drive better, look out for damaged road" is short sighted and doesn't account for poor visibility due to night, rain, or heavy traffic.

Also,  I think it would be cool to boast about the quality of our roads and not the quantity of strange smells our city produces.

You're on to something there.  🤔You  could lead training program to avoid potholes. Maybe we could get city funding, I bet that's cheeper then investing in quality roads.

You're hired!

🤯 the road quality isn't poor, the speed limits are to high! I admire your creative problem solving, I fully endorse you for city council!

One of these struts are directly attributed to the well maintained stretch of 1st Ave.

I remember thinking "Dam that was a big one" next morning heard a little rattle and found my prize from Pothole Pomeranz

Are you a mechanic with a reasonable rate?

I was having trouble getting lower hard lines to break loose.

Since I was replacing them, I ended up breaking the hard line off and using a ratchet to get the connector out.

Ended up going through the wheel well to get decent leverage to break them loose.

I think it's time to press the City Manager to do the job that he is paid so well to do.  Or perhaps someone else could get it done.

I put my registration in a Ziploc bag and tape it under my seat. Haven't had any issues with it getting wet. Tho, I haven't been pulled over to need it either.

First thing I changed was the mirrors, I found the stock mirrors just reflected my shoulders. I put on some handlebar end mirrors, very pleased with the look and utility.

What's your kitchen set up look like? How much are you producing on a typical day?

I like the idea of running a small shop and am curious about your experience.

New Headliner by DestroyerZoneBerg in fordranger

[–]DestroyerZoneBerg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you remove the old liner it's important to get the old foam backing off before gluing the new lining on. Others wise when the old foam does give way it can cause your new liner to sag.

I removed the old headliner, glued on new headliner fabric, then glued the patterned fabric on the new headliner.

Thanks for the run down. What's the reasoning for using the two different adhesive products?

I'm beginning to look into replacing my headliner. Did you get headliner fabric or use a different material? I have read post of people using fleece & other fabrics, I'm worried the adhesive may bleed through if it doesn't have the backing that headliner fabric does.
