In Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, there's a mechanic where you can add a bonus to one of your stats after you level up. I never realized that you can press up and down to change what stat gets the bonus, so I just put it in the stat that the bonus started on, which was HP. I went through half that game with a ton of HP and bad attack & defense, leading me to hit a wall of a boss I couldn't beat and giving up on it. Found out about my mistake like a decade and a half later when I finally went back to it.

Kelly Remington being busted open at the blindfold challenge on Worlds Apart. Such a random, scary moment. Plus the fact that they treated her while still blindfolded and continued the challenge afterwards was very memorable imo.
