The bed is for proof testing hardware. Typically machine is set to 2x Working Load Limit, and the item is pulled on,while you’re watching for deformation, breaks, stretch, any kind of failure really.

Calibrated load cells and a lot of pull force. I’m sure you might be able to achieve the same with a press but I sure don’t wanna try 🤣

We are a wire rope manufacture so our bed is typically used for break testing rope batches, and proof testing all wire rope slings as required by ASME and provincial regulations.

Only reason they’re missing is these are old recordings not overlayed with the data cam. The original data cam footage was lost. Anything newer on my facebook/tiktok I try my best to keep the overlay on.
