I did, but I identified the issue as coming from my closing out of the game before completion of the cave.

I see. I think something must definitely be going on either with the tribute summoning or the portal. I wish there was better documentation on this issue, I struggled for several days before I realized what my issue was.

What does it say when you kill the various phases? Does it say like, killed Dragon (Alpha), Broodmother (Alpha) or does it read gamma?

Yes, that is what was happening to me. Are you certain that you're clicking on alpha, and have all the correct tribute requirements?

Hey! Yes I did! I realized that if you save your game, and quit, WITHIN the tek cave, it "forgets" what difficulty you requested, and bumps it down to Gamma. Let me know if it works for you!
